Who usually sells well?

If you start with the original database, as I did, then you have Johnson, Borini and Lens who can all sell for a canny price, or who you can keep and form the basis of a pretty decent team. Another top tip for the original database - Ricky Alvarez is available on a free and valued at £10 million + when you sign him ;)

Fucked us off in the end and went for Southampton.

Close enough

Zivkovic is a standard purchase. Usually cheap and incredible from the off. Ends up being worth loads.

Yeah snapped him up.

Playing with two inside forwards so he'll replace mane who is acting the **** already.

Needed to build a squad large enough to cope with injuries they already have, and the Europa.

Sold Shane Long

Brought in:

Mammana
Lasse Christensen
Kristiffer Olsson
Bin Yedder

Trying to peddle Pelle as well.

Came from behind to beat AS Monaco in the CL final. Wew!

So that was the league, FA cup and CL in that season. Charity shield as well. United beat me in the Capital One Cup.

Not sure if I should stick around and continue cementing Sunderland at the top table of European football or move on to a different league.

Got the England job. Now to deliberately not play Hart, Butland or Forster so that Jordan Pickford is England's number one

I note Wayne Rooney is now at Celtic and his pace has decline to around 6

I got a new laptop recently and the latest version of FM I had was FM13.

Anyhow set away in 2012/13 as manager of Kidderminster.
Went straight through the divisions from Conference to Championship.
3 seasons to escape the championship
Have had 3 premier league seasons, 14th, 8th and 4th iirc

Just got higuain and pique on frees for their experience to try and steer me through my maiden CL season
play a 3-5-2

Main successes have been:
lingaard - bought him in league 2 for a few hundred thousand and then flogged him in the premier league for 20 million to liverpool
some guy called tibor cica who i got for pennies at the start and played all the way through to the prem
replaced linaard with a brazilian regen for 1 million and he has been brilliant
charlie austin has hit 20 a season for 3 seasons for me

i had about 5 croatian under 21s playing in my first team at one point

Hadn't been on FM in a while so went back to FM15 and decided to have a crack with Wolves, see if I could seal back to back promotions after back to back relegations. I haven't really used the 4-4-2 formation on Football Manager since about FM 2010 so I thought I'd give it a go with Wolves. The result was a staggering record breaking season as we ended up with 109 points, breaking Reading's record of 106 set in 2005/06. We ended up 27 points clear of second placed Norwich and to be honest I reckon if it wasn't for a series of crippling injuries in the new year we could have gone the season unbeaten.

The only player I signed was left winger Martyn Woolford from Millwall for just over £1m. He contributed 10 goals and 20 assists during a fantastic campaign.

The biggest surprise was Kevin Doyle, when I first took over at Wolves and saw Doyle in the squad I was underwhelmed, especially when I seen he was earning £34k per week, 13% of our entire wage budget. I wanted to bomb him out but he ended up scoring 34 goals despite spending about six weeks out injured. I ended up offering him a new deal on reduced terms which he accepted and I'm liking the look of this squad ahead of the new Premier League season, I don't reckon we need to sign many players at all. I need a new right back and probably a new central midfielder but apart from that I think most of these players can hold their own, especially the centre back pairing of Danny Batth and Richard Stearman who are both disgustingly overrated on this game.

Think I'll stick with this 4-4-2 and see how it goes, we beat both West Brom and Everton in the FA Cup this year with my current tactic. The latter was an amazing Kevin Doyle inspired 3-0 success at Goodison.

I refuse to believe this. 4-4-2 indeed

There's a glitch on FM16 which means you can essentially play with everyone in a really advanced position as long as you have a sweeper keeper with good pace and basically win every game. Not been tempted to use it like, seems a bit unsatisfying. Can't remember the exact tactical instructions now either.

First season with the lads and finished 3rd and won both domestics cups.

Defoe with 34 goals and boring with 29.

Brought in the following

Perusing
Lucas Romero
Balanta
Mamma a on loan from juve

Of which I loaned the last two out

Recipient 35m by letting he following go

Johnson
Cattermole
Bridxutt
Fletcher
Jones
Graham
Buxkley
Larsson

Back into the transfer window now and Dortmund want borini for 30m and I'm trying to shift lens and he's pereneinally injured and 28.

Got Geronimo riulli on a free aswell as his contract expired

On the verge of packing in this Wolves save already. Not that we are doing too badly in the Premier League at all, we are in mid-table after about a quarter of the season despite having played away games at Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool already. I'm utterly sick to death of the amount of injuries the game is inflicting on me. I've a rather large squad and yet I can barely fill the subs bench on a matchday. There's only so many sports hernia's, groin strains and bruised shin's you can take before the game stops being fun to play.
