I think all religion is fookin bollocks but why are the Jewish hated so much?

Because they run world finance, or so the Jew haters say. When you point out to these dim-witted sheep that we live in one of the most successful economies this planet has ever seen it seems to stump them, which to be honest isn't hard.

Adolf blamed the Jews and the Bolsheviks for everything, but even with the might of the German state behind him never actually presented any evidence to back up his hatred.

I've never heard a convincing argument which justifies anti-Semitism, but that's often down to the intelligence of the person or people who are trying to convince me.

So they weren't allowed to own land and join in trade guilds but the usury on money loans was allowed? I'm not sure if that was allowed either marra, by their scripture or ours.

I'm in a Trade Union linked to the Chinese Communist Party and used to be employed by a Chinese State Enterprise does that count as a militant far left group (it seems to only organise sports events and outings mind)

I suppose in the days of divine right of kings to expect interest from a sovereign was quite heretical (as well as inconvenient for the king ) . Add in the small matter of killing Jesus and they would have been disliked immensely by the wealthy and common alike . I'm from York we had a bit of history with Jew's too . I think the Jewish views on usury were a bit vague in that it was forbidden to gain interest from a loan to another Jew as it should be seen as an act of kindness. I'm not sure it applies to non Jews as it specifically mentions 'my people'.

Probably more to do with the fact that Jews ceased to be useful to the King towards the end of the 13th century, when usury was made illegal in England.

Right, I'll to respond to the OP, I'll stick to sources that have been researched and verified and I'll no doubt annoy someone.

Historically it came down to the fact they were the only 'legal' money lenders, and given they had an outsider status anyway were an easy target when some arse decided he couldn't be fucked paying back. e.g.

So already by the 12th Century a lot of the common themes of persecution were already established, the same practices were also in place across much of Europe.
