Son of Suru Nayak, Indian International player who pro'd at a few north east clubs on the 80's.
Crook, Philli and Hebburn Reyrolles spring to mind.
If he is as good as his dad then he will be a cracking player.[/QUOTE]
Indeed he will.Suru was only a whisker away from the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in 1984 when pro at Shields

Yes, sorry, forgot about South Shields.
He played at Philadelphia in 1985 and this was the last time they won the Durham Senior League.

Sounds like a good replacement for Easington's pro of last year - who was also a (very good) bat/left arm spinner

Rammy & Jazzy Singh from Stockton, Shahbaz from Eppleton

All to Sunderland
Zazz was great for us last season but faded after Ramadan it has to be said. First half of season best bowler in league for me though. Mind yas couldn't have signed based on his Ashbrooke display. 1 for 90 odd wasn't it! ;)
He's good lad actually and no mug with bat either. Good addition.

He netted with us a couple of winters ago so know a bit about him, seemed a decent lad.

Bill Quay have signed an Australian left arm seamer called Josh Eaton for next season. He plays for Essendon CC in Melbourne - I believe that this is the same club that Marsden and Peterlee's pros from last season play for.

Only played thirds and fourths this season and hardly bowled Hope he is fit for the summer

He's working his way back from injury, having been a regular in 1st/2nd grade over the past few years before he got injured last year. By the time he gets here he will (hopefully!) have a full Australian season under his belt. Added bonus of him being a well-qualified coach, so we are optimistic that he will do a good all round job for the club. Fingers crossed.

Bill Quay pro in working his way back from injury story........ This has a familiar ring to it.

Brandon have signed Moin Ashraf and Usman Arshad.
As far as I'd heard, Benny was staying at Sunderland?

Unfortunately visa issues have stopped Sunderland being able to retain the same pro this year, so they've signed up Kam Shah as replacement.

Another good signing that mate. Lovely lad as well. Going to be a really competitive league this season.
