Undisclosed permanent deal at 5pm today I reckon.

We'll end up paying half his contract up or summat like that.

Makes you wonder that when we signed him he was on championship level wages at Brightion yet, for some reason, we offered him a basic salary that would be beyond most championship teams if we subsequently decided to sell him. Another outstanding piece of business

Nottingham Forest interested in a loan according to twitter. If Championship clubs can afford to buy £10mill players off each other they could afford him. I think they know we are desperate to get rid and so are trying to get a good deal, which they are entitled to do.

Can we still loan players to championship teams after the window closes? If so, if we can't sell on we may end up farming out a few of the squad players over the season.

He's on £20k a week apparantly, same as bridcutt.
You can't blame the players for silly fuckers at the club agreeing the contracts

I shudder to think how much he's getting paid.
This. ridiculous from SAFC. what planet do they live on? We're making losses hand over fist and they are paying this average donkey a clearly hefty wedge for sitting on his arse doing nowt because he isnt very good and not up to PL standard.

pitiful.

Unless you have processed the SAFC weekly wage bill you have absolutely no idea what he is on.

so my question to you is this - "do you process the SAFC weekly wage bill/payments"?

i know how much he is on - too much - and way too much for any team that we want to unload him on to to afford. Scandalous.

high wages should never be a problem when selling, if we've paid him £10k too much per week we just have to bite the bullet and pay the difference and then try not to make a habit of buying crap players in the future.

Poyet wanted him as he did Alvarez. £20k a week is just ridiculous for his standard.
