You are right, Chunky, but you have to agree that this board is becoming like the PF for "told you so" posts. I don't give a fuck about it tbh, but I am convinced some go trawling back over posts in hindsight to "expose" wrong opinions.

Gotta admit I do like the occasional wind up on PF (although you basically say anything negative re SAFC and you are called a WUM or a Mag anyway so...) but always thought this place was a safe haven and a forum for proper discussion and debate.

So, what has actually happened? It can't just be someone made a prediction and got pulled on it?

all tests this summer to finish inside 3 days as i posted a thread about not buying tickets.

It is the inevitable result of another PF trait then crept onto the cricket board first..... The complete meltdown and ridiculous over-the-top criticism whenever England are less than perfect.

Or the position in reverse. The best thing is to call it as you see it at the time. England, to be fair, have been " less than perfect"on a number of occasions recently. The test vs NZ was excellent and so were England. Thats just the truth of it.

They have, and even the side which topped the rankings had bad sessions and bad days. That's the nature of a game which is played over a full working week.

Have a look at the last match thread man, some calls to drop Cook on there with one game between now and the Ashes. Staggering really. Some of the other stuff on there man, it's hilarious. And it's the same on every match thread (and that's before we even bring up other threads like the one Carty has imploded over, and ones on a certain Saffer) and the reason why this board went from a very good discussion forum to the same as PF. That's the kind of opinion that needs to be brought back up at a later date and shown up for the reactionary horseclarts that it is.
