Revelling in it? Come on man. 96 people died FFS. It's hardly anything to revel in.
 
Cannot stand Liverpool or Brenda f***ing rogers, The scousers will never accept/admit any responsibility for what happened at Hillsbrough/Heysel..
Respect to the people that lost their lives in those two terrible incidents,but Liverpool can fuck right off for me.
 
They've got a great history - since 1964. Before that - ordinary. They didn't win the FA Cup until 1965.

Everton's success stretches over a much longer period-until the PL came along.

As an aside I always thought (or had been told) that Everton had never been relegated, but it turns out they have been twice actually. And in fact there are no teams in English football that have always been in the top flight. Arsenal are the best in that regard, relegated in 1912/13 and re-elected to the top flight in 1919 after WW1 (at the expense of Spurs - there are also suggestions that their re-election was dubious) and have been there ever since, with unparalleled consistency of high league placings throughout almost all their history.

You could argue therefore that Arsenal are the greatest English club, for consistent high achievement.
 
Hopefully Liverpool fans don't play Football Manager. They've removed the flames altogether on their take on the crest.

Except what is actually happening is that they are using Hillsborough to have a go at someone else.

I was always under the impression the "Scousers light a candle" was because of things like this - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/4372230.stm - not taking the piss out of Hillsborough

I'm with you on this. I was living in Liverpool at the time and was actually at the other semi final at Villa Park that day. (haven't a clue who Everton were playing.) My wife had a real panic for a while when she heard on the news about deaths at the cup semi final.
There was not a single person in the city who was unaffected by the tragedy.
And while certain elements in Liverpool played and still play the victim card, the real victims, the families of those who died had to fight for twenty five years to get a sniff of truth.
As for Bradford, Heysel and Celtic, equal tragedies yes, but there was no massive cover up in those cases.

Exactly this.
If people choose to dislike Liverpool then fine but to seemingly make light of what happened is really poor as far as I'm concerned.
To suggest they revel in it defies belief!
