Revelling in it? Come on man. 96 people died FFS. It's hardly anything to revel in.Mate, the entire nation was behind them for most of the last 30 years, it's the fact that thwy're f***ing revelling in it that gets my goat. The promotion by dunkin donuts was ridiculous, but to say making a hideously poor taste crest that looks a little bit like theirs is showing a lack of respect is cringeworthy in the extreme. Some people just like to play the victim.
@rocky likes this.Didn't think would be long before the mocking of a club that's had an horrific tragedy happen to them would start.
Greatest club in England for me.
Grow up cocknose@rocky likes this.
They've got a great history - since 1964. Before that - ordinary. They didn't win the FA Cup until 1965.
Everton's success stretches over a much longer period-until the PL came along.
Not at all.
A fantastic history and our most successful European club.
people choosing to have a pop at them over hillsborough is disgusting to be honest.
It's not Man Utd mate, it's LiverpoolDidn't think would be long before the mocking of a club that's had an horrific tragedy happen to them would start.

I was always under the impression the "Scousers light a candle" was because of things like this - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/4372230.stm - not taking the piss out of HillsboroughI don't think Liverpool are any more special due to their tragedies I just think they have a wonderful history and have always been my second club.
Heysel and hillsborough could've happened to any club in that time.
Talking if candles etc isn't mocking?
Haway man!
I'm with you on this. I was living in Liverpool at the time and was actually at the other semi final at Villa Park that day. (haven't a clue who Everton were playing.) My wife had a real panic for a while when she heard on the news about deaths at the cup semi final.Revelling in it? Come on man. 96 people died FFS. It's hardly anything to revel in.
Thought Peter Beardsley was at Newcastle now ?
Wonder if this fella will be welcome back to Anfield anytime soon

There was not a single person in the city who was unaffected by the tragedy.
And while certain elements in Liverpool played and still play the victim card, the real victims, the families of those who died had to fight for twenty five years to get a sniff of truth.
As for Bradford, Heysel and Celtic, equal tragedies yes, but there was no massive cover up in those cases.
