Not just the line up but tactically what would you do. Id go

Pantilimon

Vergini
O'Shea
Brown
Reveillere

Cattermole

Buckley
Larsson
Rodwell
Johnson

Fletcher

I would have Larsson to man mark Fabregas, he has the energy and I see Fabregas as where the game will be won and lost. Cattermole doing his usual sitting role. Buckley as he gives more defensively then wickham. I would have liked to move Reveillere to Hazards wing but we don't really have another option at LB.

minimum damage......reducers on costa, hazard, fabregas, oscar and matic......then hold out in the ensuing 11 vs 6 rearguard.....morceau de gateau

Id have this team, possibly wickham for fletcher as he is more mobile

Hazards the biggest threat IMO. You like that gif Hazard is a Hazard/threat :D :D

Na man all jokes aside I'd go with.......

Pantilimon
Vergini
Brown
Oshea
Rev

Johnson
Larsson
Cattermole
Gomez
Wickham

Fletcher

I just don't rate Buckley and we could do with a 5 man midfield vs Chelsea tbf.

Score 0-2 Chelsea

Looking forward to the game and Poyet's approach to it. We've got nothing to lose in some ways as understandably not many will give us a hope of getting anything.

I don't buy Bridcutt's "Chelsea will be out for revenge" either, with the squad they've got I suspect they will look on last seasons result as an absolute freak and one that is only going to happen about once every 100 times we play.

I think we'll sit deep, pack the defence and I wouldn't be suprised if this isnt the game we see both Catts and Bridcutt play from the start.

If, and its a huge if, we can frustrate them for long enough, I could see Alvarez coming off the bench for the last 10/15 minutes to try and conjure up an unlikely winner.

Head says 0-4 though !

Quite a difference in thoughts there mind

Give them an early goal and ourselves a load of hard work to do, show some promise as Chelsea sit back and go through the motions, only for us to be caught on the counter attack late on.

Or

Show little or nothing, sitting back trying to hold onto a 0-0. Chelsea get a goal from a sublime piece of skill or a mistake. All of a sudden our players look like world beaters but just can't score. Possibly concede a second late on whilst pushing for an equaliser, fans leave thinking why didn't we just play like that from the beginning.
