I live in Newcastle, and when I get on at South Gosforth on a matchday I normally see at least a handful of other red and white stripes poking out from under coats whilst waiting on the station.

I've no doubt it's probably been mentioned on here before but are there many on here/ how wide scale is our following in Northumberland and Tyneside?

Since migrating to Ponteland I've seen a few red n white (no doubt there's more). I also know we have an appreciable following in Alnwick, Prudhoe and Corbridge but is this generally the case and are there other areas that are renowned for SAFC fan base?
Unreliable numbers suggest there may be more than 27 individuals fitting the demographic you refer to.

I'm in Throckley, and not many to be seen round these parts. In fact, not many humans to be seen.

Good cluster of SAFC in Amble and the Ellington branch has a good member base. I lived in Forest Hall for 10 years and there were a fair few SAFC living there. A lot of the Northumbelrna fan base is borne from the pits and buses going to Sunderland one week, Newcastle the next. My grandad was from North of Alnwick and he's the main reason I support Sunderland, my uncle bought me a Newcastle top for Christmas when I was 7 and the old boy refused to let me put it on. Spoke to me about the 73 cup final the last time I saw him. Canny old fella. Okay, therapy over.....

As the username suggests I'm from Cramlington. My Dad was born
and bred in Harton, Shields and my first ever game was at Roker Park. Fell in love with SAFC ever since.

I attend with a pal @Northern from Cramlington and there's a fair few of us drink in the Brockwell Seam including the manager porky.
