So you would think Broad should be booted out too? Or is it ok that he apparently loves his captain?

As far as I'm aware Broad hasn't sent text to the opposition with ways of getting his skipper out, (not that it's currently needed), but yes, IF he did that then I'd feel the same way.

Fact is, it's messy now, will be much worse once the public mud slinging ends. Listened to Moore and morgan about an hour again on a podcast. Pathetic. Two intelligent blokes talking loudly over each other , neither having a blue what they're talking about. Would have a lot more sympathy with KP if Morgan wasn't there
Well at least Morgan has first hand information from one side of the dispute, which is more than can be said for Moore.

Morgan has that 'c.unt Pieterson's' (Strauss, 2013) word for it which doesn't make him that well informed. If KP told him that the earth was flat, he stop jacking him off and ring Vaughan and Tuffers to tell them, denouncing those that believe it to be spherical as being weasels or stoats or summit

KP has fallen out with to many people throughout his career for it be everyone else fault and not partly his.
1. Fell out with Natal before coming over here
2. Then fell out with senior players and Mick Newell at Notts as soon as he did not need them anymore and wanted a move down South.
3. Fell out with Bransgrove and managment at Hampshire and was basically released by the club.
That is before all the problems with England.

My one recollection of Pietersen is watching him play for Notts 2nd team against Durham when he had been dropped by Notts for poor form. Harmy was playing for Durham for the same reason, KP was fielding on the boundary seemed more interested in chatting up a lass on the rope than the match, and a young kid took a couple of wickets bowling for Notts all the other players went to congratulate him, KP stayed on the boundary flirting i just thought selfish tw@t.

There is no doubt that there are at least couple more in the England side who are not particularly likeable characters and i'am not surprised Anderson is in the clarts at the moment, i heard an absolute horror story about his attitude whilst bowling to youngsters at Loughbrough. (from a player that was there)

KPs biggest problem if he was serious about returning to the test side is that h did not have the hunger or the desire to go back to county cricket and have more than a 1000 championship runs on the board by now that was his only chance of a return.

So in a meaningless second eleven game he is supposed to run all the way from the boundary when a wicket falls, when he might have been on a promise? You are reading too much into it.

It wouldn't have been a meaningless match to the young kid who took the wicket and if Pietersen wasn't such an egocentric he'd have realised that.

Keep in mind during all of this argument, KP has gone. Let's focus on the abilities of the lads who still represent us and the regime in place.

Well it would unless he was a jumped up egomaniac, expecting a test cricketer to run 75 yards to congratulate him. What were the kid's figures, and who was the batsman?

Morgan is a media whore who should be in jail, and possibly might still be when phone hacking investigations reach The Mirror. If he told me the time I'd check my watch.

Just checked it on cricket archive it was 2002 and KP was not a test cricketer but a promising county cricketer in his 2nd season of county cricket. the young lad as it happens was a 17 yr old called sammit Patel who i remember looked about 14. Perhaps KPs tough love got him into the England set up.

Off topic but on the subject of Patel, who was very much a protege playing 2nd XI cricket at 14 and 1st X! cricket at 17 discarded by England because of supposed fitness issues yet it's now revealed that we've been selecting and playing at wicket-keeper for the last 2 Tests who was known to be unfit. Samit is having a brilliant season and is still ignored.

Andrew Strauss, mild mannered and South African. That was an issue against KP for somebody else. As well as Swann apparently. I wonder if Swann said "get that South African cunt out of the team" in front of Strauss.
That would have been very clever of Swann....assuming he would have not bailed out halfway through the comment.
