Met nicky summerbee in baja beach club, he wasn't playing under Reid at the time so asked why and he didn't know, he said he just couldn't do anything right by him. Told him he was the best crosser in the prem league behind beckham and then let him be!
 reidy could be a right tit at times

Was in a bar outside Manchester a couple of years back, I'm stood at the bar and a guy staggers over and starts chatting to me, I'm thinking this lad looks lke Nicky Summerbee, said this to my brother and he says no, then we turn round and Chris Makin is stood there as well. I offered to buy them both a drink but they wouldn't have it. Nickys dad Mike was there as well, it was Grand National day and they'd been out for a good session.

My uncle's company sponsored the villa match in January so we were all in corporate for the day. After the match, bar was packed and I got chatting to my uncle and another fella who I didn't realise was Lee Howey (just before my time). Anyway, I said "So Lee, tell us about your brother".

Cue Lee to start singing "Lee Howey Lee Howey Lee Howey, me brother is a ****". The room was in tears of laughter.

Why, what happened ?

Charlie rings a bell however we were pissed lol he must have been about 10 or 12. Think England had just been knocked out of world cup or euros.
That would sound about right, I think this was about five years ago and he was deceptively young, maybe 20-21. Monty Panesar's brother used to work for me at the same place, he was literally the most stupid person I've ever met, I still don't know what I was thinking hiring him. It wasn't free tickets that's for sure. Not really drinking and somewhat tenuous, but he did go to the pub with us a fair few times.
