I was never a fan,like.But for some strange reason,he is the celeb that always comes to mind when someone says "you're a long time dead"and similar morbid sayings.
 
Joe Public probably consider him to have been a far better singer than he was, on account of multiple overdubs and the oft overlooked harmonies sung by Roger Taylor and Brian May.

I see this all the time. What made him a great entertainer? All I've ever seen in recordings are him strutting about Jagger-like and waving a cut-off microphone stand about. Mind, I dint like Queen.

someone who can hold an audience in the palm of their hands... a charisma and a likeability

Queen have done some outstanding tracks......

Personality that comes over on a stage and movement...yes movement on a stage is entertaining to watch. In conjunction with the music (albeit not your taste) makes for a great entertainer. You have to be able to sing though otherwise you come off looking like a chump.
