Zero Alcohol Beer

In The Badger next to the airport, waiting to pick someone up from a return flight. Just trying a Peroni Zero, and I have to say it is canny. These have come on a long way since the days of Caliber. Nee sign of any wan*ers hats either

I’ve drank Becks Blue in a pub when I was taking antibiotics for a tooth abscess and that was alright anarl. Just tasted like normal Becks.

There’s a load now. I can easily go out and not have a drink. Brewdog, peroni, ghost ship, Guinness, then there’s non-alcho ciders like koppaberg which are decent but go down like pop.

Erdinger is probably the best one you'll get in a standard pub but there's a whole world of good stuff out there.
Some of the Belgian ones are excellent.

I don't mind Heineken 0.0, but it's too expensive. You have next to no choice but to get it in bottles anywhere. The only place I know sells a 0% on tap in Sunderland is the fire station which has Lucky Saint, which I haven't tried.

Guinness 0% is where it’s at. Mind. Don’t be buying it in Ashbrooke Cricket Club. 4 pound 𝓯𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 60 for a single can. And you have to ask for a glass for it.

Guinness or Smith's are my normal go to beers. I need to try the Guinness then

Leffe 0.0% is IMO the closest to the original of all the non-alcoholic versions.

The Guinness 0.0% is pretty good too.

The main problem I find is that they all feel very “thin” compared to the originals.

Guinness is decent and the best alternative imho. Tried lots of lagers and they are like piss. Got some Brewdog Nanny State and it's just like like soda water!

Peroni Zero is better than actual Peroni.

If you put a Brooklyn Side Effects side by side with a Brooklyn Lager ya'd struggle to tell the two apart.

San Miguel is my go to but Heineken seems to be more prevalent in pubs n restaurants.
