Your three to go down right now.

3 from…..
Leeds, Burnley, Sunderland, Brentford, Wolves, Bournemouth and another. There’s usually a surprise struggler.

my heart wants to say we'll stay up, but anyone saying anything other than the 3 that came up is taking a massive leap of faith. although, i don't think either of the three clubs coming up will worry derby's record.

only glimmer of hope, the changes at brentford & wolves selling talent could see them slip up.
I hope to god to be honest.

I desperately want us to buck the trend.

At the end of August right now, the three who went up have spent a combined £250m. A quarter of a billion ffs.

That will only increase. Imagine telling someone 20 year ago that's what promoted clubs will be spending. They'd look at you as if you were from mars.

If all three go down with a whimper, it signals a worrying sign for the state of the game.

Currently, Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland. If we add a top flight proven CF, and a CH and FB from any of the top leagues, then we have a chance of staying up

would be the third season in a row too. last season spurs & united would normally have been in deep shit if the difference between the championship & premier hasnt grown to a ocean sized chasm.

Same Bournemouth that hammered you four nowt at St James?? Haway man 🤣🤣
If they’re that bad maybe you’re the ones who should worry about relegation
Correct. That Bournemouth who, since that hammering, have lost half of their defence and in the CB & FB were probably their best players.

Honestly at least one promoted team will stay up this season.

Brentford are weak, best players wanting out, Frank leaving. I also think Wolves will struggle.

Based on our outrageous spending, I think we will finish 16th. Afcon will definitely hit us, why can't they have it in July like other continents.

18. Wolves.
19. Brentford
20 Burnley
Woles Leeds and us ATM are interchangeable.
Brentford have had a disaster class. Set piece coach as manager 😳

Bournemouths front three are very good mind but they definitely need to strengthen.

3 from Sunderland, Leeds, Burnley, Brentford, Wolves

Forest and West Ham could get sucked in.

Can’t see Bournemouth struggling, kept most the team together and have a decent manager imo

Currently I have us in a relegation spot. We have no premier level GK. Only Ballard in centre of defence with potential to make the jump, Hume and reinildo full backs with no decent cover for those positions. We are missing a clinical finisher up front .

West ham looked pretty good last night

So I do think as we are, we will probably still go down but you never know if

* We have a really solid end to the window (Striker, 2 CBs and RB Cover)
* Palace and Forest both have European footy to worry about and Palace especially dont have massive squad or strength in the depth they have, they are both ones to keep an eye on.
* Leeds and Burnley are both going to struggle as predicted
* Brentford, West Ham and Fulham will struggle as well

That’s not ideal for us tbh. I know it sounds daft but we need them to be competitive to take points off other teams.

For example: Wolves last season took 15 of their 43 points from the bottom three clubs.

West Ham took 13 of their 42 points from the bottom three clubs.

If the bottom three last season were competitive then all of a sudden a host of clubs (inc Utd and Spurs) are in a panic.

Obviously though, we need to be better than Leeds and Burnley 😂

I have faith that we will fill those positions adequately, or at least most of them with a surprise one or two stepping up to prem level.

Will be a big ask to get our lot once finalised after buys, gelled together as one unit fast mind.

It's going to be practically an entirely different starting 11 come West Ham game, from who started V Shef Utd in the PO final. Can't remember a time where an safc starting 11 will have been so vastly different from the last game of the preceding season at this level(possibly start of first season in prem under Keane?).......stand to be corrected of course.

My concern is that we need a good start given our fixtures in Aug/Sept. If it takes long to gel the squad and RLB to suss out this group and we get cut adrift early on, it will be hard to catch up.

As of today, we’re either bottom 3 or very close.

Two top centre backs (one who can also play right back) and two forwards (one who has proven himself in a top 5 European league) and then we should be clear of the drop fairly comfortably.
