I can't remember the name of it. Just below the handle it said "Oldest makers of cricket bats in India" and saw that it was Dillip Vengsaker's bat of choice when I watched the test series that summer.

When I was about 8 year old, Olwyn Cummings at East Rainton gave me Slazenger V12 bat that was leftover in clubhouse. It was my pride and joy, absolutely superb little middle. Then years later (I then had couple of bats myself) when my dad's mate came around our house with his young son, my dad gave the bat to the lad (he was not even into cricket), I was absolutely gutted and still am to this day

Had 3 County bats, can't remember the names of each one.
Now got a TON that I bought off an india pro a few years ago that I am still unsure of, probably will get a new bat for next season.

got a Slazenger V600 in for a refurb at the minute. Lovely light pickup and lots of straight grains. Come up like new from sanding through the grits.

Pity the brand has been trashed by sports direct etc.
