Yann M'vila - target or not?

Previous week WBA supporters were saying he was instrumental in turning around the deficit when he came off the bench.
Oh it was completely tongue in cheek.
I'd still love him here next season. West Brom can just build his fitness up for us

So.. he's played ok then? Better than our only 2 cm's then?

He hasn’t played much but has started to get more time on the park. I’d argue it’s probably harder for him to get in WBAs midfield given they’re actually having a canny season.

Hes an option. One that given our total lack of depth and experience in there would have been useful for us.
I never said who was better. Like two bald men arguing over a comb as they’ve both done nowt.

Its not like that at all really.

One has been a disaster in a side that have barely been able to get a point since he arrived, the other is getting a bit of time off the bench in a side 17 points above us and who are bound for the play offs.

I remember going to WBA towards the back end of last year and outclassing them. 1 year on and it's they who have improved whilst we are nowhere near as good as last season. Any business would be asking serious questions of the decision makers for the downturn in performance

So as I said, he’s done next to nowt. 👍🏻 Can M’Vila play left back btw?

He cant. But saying that neither can Cirkin, Huggins, Alese (always injured) or Styles, Hjelde or Pembele (always shite). We'd have been much better off keeping Gooch who was very reliable fitness wise to play right back while Hume played Left Back. Gooch's experience invaluable. His love of the club infectious and could have saved multiple transfer fees and wages for several absolute knackers.

I’d have always kept Gooch. There must be some very silly buggers on here who called him worse than shit for years for the crime of loving the club no less who feel very stupid this season.

Struggled with injuries this season has Goochy boy. Out for the season.

He's a very very limited footballer and has been for years. Just because we've signed shite doesn't mean he's suddenly got better. Love the lad to bits but let's not sugar coat it he wasn't a very good winger and is a very limited full back. Jack Clarke absolutely terrorised him at our place.

Only player we sold in the summer that I would have kept.

Batth too depending on wages and being happy with 3rd choice.

Jack Clarke would terrorise any full back in this league one on one. I’m not saying I’m picking Gooch every week, or that he’s amazing, but he was a solid player at this level in your squad. People keep saying experience experience. You need his leadership and experience in the dressing room and around the training ground.

Yep. Versatile and an experienced leader in the changing room. Tbh. Batth looks like his legs have totally gone.
