Yann M'vila - target or not?

I have never heard you say anything positive got no idea why you even support us

I’m not doing this again, ya boring and one of the thickest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to talk to, I’m not alone in these thoughts on here, your basically a parody. Do me a favour stick me on ignore.
Tbf in the summer he said he was open to any offers and yet is still a free agent so surely can see why people are being a bit glass half full here

If he was even half as good as what he was 7yrs ago you’d think he’d have been snapped up by now even by a shite Ligue 1 side with a low budget

I’m not debating that pal. I personally think it’s a no brainer, but then people are welcome to there opinions positive or negative.

That’s the reason I made a point of quoting who I did. Look at his posts, constantly going on about how people are being ridiculous, and how pathetic people are for discussing negatives.

In the next breath he comes out with that. Ya can’t have one rule for everyone else then one rule for yourself.

Aye mate out of god knows how many members there is about a total of 3 of you sharing similar views on constant negativity , ya back up wingman thinks Harry kanes shite he has zero credibility, if your going to have views they need to be balanced with some positivity. I struggle to see what enjoyment you get out of supporting us.

Leroy Fer?
The cousin of Patrick van Aanholt IIRC?

I'm sure Fer failed a medical with us after a transfer fee and personal terms had been agreed. Queens Park Rangers even embarrassingly announced that he had joined us via their official website which was later retracted.

load of shite man. Smacks of Defoe this.

The owners are trying to get us back onside by doing the least amount of work. Theyve seen online theres been some chatter from fans that we should go and get him as he'd said that he would come.

Taking this piss out of us. Do your jobs properly. Find a striker from somewhere who can score 10 before the end of the season and we'll be in the playoffs.

As i've mentioned just because what are the risks? He said he'd only drop down to a 2nd division to sign for Sunderland, in my humble opinion if the club had a chance to sign him and didn't take it they'd be round the bend
The risks are you bring someone else in on a decent wage who might actually be finished, similar to Defoe - yes he's younger and not the same position - and you're no better off but you've wasted money. As @rubberface has mentioned the timing is a bit odd, we could have had him months ago if the club wanted him.

The comparison with Defoe is lazy and a bit silly. Stop it man
Well there are similarities, bringing a previously loved player back who is a bit older and isn't playing. Could also hoy Leadbitter into that category.

Anyway, let's see what happens. If there was genuine interest you'd think it would be done.

Would love to see him back but......remember he is no longer in his prime. If he could do a Steve Bould I would be owa the knocka!

Take away the previous love for former players as you should never sign a player off the back of it, Defoe was a daft age and all the signs were there that he couldn't get in anyone's team after he left us, Grant was struggling for a good while and at best was a middle of the road championship player coming in for ridiculous wages.

Then you have M'vila, a chap who was a leading player in a European playing team last season, whose attributes are exactly what is required in our first eleven and has the mentality which is exactly as required at the club, not only that but capable of bridging possible gaps between the English and french chaps.

They're poor comparisons if you ask me.

Last season yes, this season he can't seem to get a club, does that not raise concerns?
