Could be … Bring Catts back too get the band back together he’s only 35He'd be brilliant for Dan Neil, Ekwah and Jobe. 3 lads to rotate with him and then to learn from him

That renders the rest of your thoughts on the subject completely irrelevant. He has spent the last 3 seasons playing in a shit league. The standard is lower than the Championship. He will be 34 this year. I thought he was pretty good at Sunderland but nothing amazing. We should be looking at better than this.
He's retired, are you on a sponsored stupidathon?Could be … Bring Catts back too get the band back together he’s only 35

way to piss on everyones parade, let us be happyThe lad hasn’t kicked a ball since the end of last season
if it happens fully expect this to be as shit as Defoes return then idiots will blame Speakman when it doesn’t work out
Face it no one on here has seen him play in 7yr and are stuck in the past

I think he stood out more in the first half because he was our only shining light. In the 2nd half of the season we had Kirchhoff, Khazi, Kone etc on top form and we were functioning really well as a team.He was excellent in the first half of the season he was here, was just above average in the second half

We can stick him in a wheelchair and he'll still be classIt'll bring people on side for sure... just hope he can still run.
Because he had a different role due to Kirshoff playingHe was excellent in the first half of the season he was here, was just above average in the second half
Agreed. Yann and Cattermole were brilliant for Kirchhoff.I’d go out on a limb and say the Cattermole, Kirchoff and M’Vila midfield three is the finest midfield unit we’ve had in the Premier League era.
M’Vila’s individual performances were outstanding first half of the season but the three of them together complimented each of their games brilliantly.
Fuckin love thathe reckons he'd be ready to play within a week.

You get the young'uns to do the hard yards around him initially and just let him pick the pass. Once he's up to speed, stand back and admire. We clearly need an experienced DM and M'Vila is clearly the absolute best option for us. Massive experience, far too good for the Championship and we'd only have a chance as he loves us, should be great for the likes of Ekwah and Ba and on a free. Only real downside is his lack of footy recently but he reckons he'd be ready to play within a week.
