Wrestling - Part 3

HOLY SHIIIIIITTTTTTT JAY WHITE!!! It’s about goddamn time.
.
Keith Lee come on down .
Well would you look at that AEW letting Keith Lee be Keith Lee in the ring and he’s over instantly.
.
Tully trying to take the gts 😂
.
Seething that Archer didn’t let Jake Roberts do the ddt 😂
.
Well I loved that Hangman/Archer match and the ending was class.
.
Also I forgot to mention, I loved how Matt hardy left through the crowd 😂 basically teasing Jeff coming in.
I didn't really see any of what Keith Lee did in WWE, but on looks and size alone, he seems to be right up Vince's street which is weird that they fired him. But that was an excellent debut.
Anyway good show last night, thought the tag match was great.

Didn't he have some weird health problem and nearly die or something.

It'd be canny horrendous but wouldn't surprise me if they let him go for that tbh.

Anyway he looked tremendous here, blokes a massive dude who has a lot of athletisim, has charisma and is a nice addition to the main event roster in AEW. Excited to see where they go with him.

If I recall correctly, he contracted covid which caused complications, and then had some dispute with WWE over medical costs.

They even tried trademarking his name when this was going on as well so he counter trademarked it which they didn’t like.

Is that his real name? If so, how do you trademark a person's name? Vince is absolutely mental
Aye it is 😂 mind Vince has tried doing it before with peoples real name’s it beggar’s belief really, imagine thinking you can and should own someone’s real name 😂

Just looking now apparently they own John Cena’s real name as well and make money off his acting roles, Mental.

Stone Cold v Kevin Owens at Mania rumors doing the rounds. Rumours acknowledged by both Wrestling Observer and Sean Ross Sapp....

I genuinely have mixed feelings about this one, would be great to see Stone Cold finish his career off properly, as that match against The Rock was probably 1 of the worst Mania matches of all time, they were more interested in not taking hard bumps to preserve their fitness outside of Wrestling, but KO is too good to be acting as a jobber.

So WWE release over 200 wrestler’s and then realise that no one is over in the company apart from Reigns and Lesnar, thus the reason they are struggling to sell tickets and then put a 2 for 1 special on for wrestlemania,
And now are trying to get Stone Cold who has been retired since 2003 to come back for let’s face it a 2 minute squash match which will then bury the talent (ko) by getting beat that quick by a bloke who’s 57 and not wrestled in 19 years.
Great stuff Vince can’t wait to see Johnny Knoxville at WRESTLE!!!mania 🤦‍♂️

Honestly I love stone cold I love the rock I mick Foley etc etc etc but I don’t want to see it anymore they have been done for years upon years.

One other thing on it I’d prefer if he stayed retired as I personally liked how The Rock was the one to do it, with there rivalry at the time, it’s a bit like when Foley got retired by HHH and that should have been that but they said fuck it bring him back, same with Shawn Michaels, the perfect ending with him and taker then they brought him back for the Saudi show, no doubt taker will be back on un retired soon 😂

It was really wierd how Austin retired. Everyone remembers his walk out of the Brock match and everyone remembers the long process of him coming back.
But not many people realise he had about 3 matches after he came back, basically, that one Rock WM match and that was it.

No real mention of why, he just came back, then almost immediately retired.

And a decent review of the Austin Rock WM matches

He's been working as a free agent for about a month or so but this is good news for AEW nonetheless.

AEW are at the stage where they can attract mainstream figures so they really need to go away with the TNA-esque signings they started off with
in negotiations about returning to WWE.......... not sure thats such a good move TBH

Oh I know I just think that’s how it should end with the rock beating him not him beating Ko in a 2 minute squash 20 years later and making current talent look even worse as they don’t make them feel a big deal anymore.
