Aye once they paired him up with Piper as his manager the spotlight shifted onto Piper instead of O'Haire and thats where it all went wrong. At the time IIRC Sean was doing some class promos with his devils advocate gimmick. Then he was paired with Piper and after that his career bombed.
Same could be said for Cesaro and Heyman this year

His gimmick was class, he had a look and could perform some good spots

One of the better lads to come from WCW IMO. But like most if not all of the talent from WCW, Vinny Mac had nee idea on how to use them and were buried.

Some of these vignettes are class, reminds me of CM Punk in a way.

I of course remember him most from his WCW days. He was one of the last graduates IIRC from the Power Plant in the final years of WCW with the likes of Chuck Palumbo, Shawn Stasiak, Mark Jindrak, Juventud Guerrera and Rey Misterio. WCW was going away from the NWO gimmick which was largely gone and he seemed the perfect wrestler to take the company on from the mid-90's and the Monday Night War.

Will be missed.

Sick of Zayn losing on the live specials. Mind keeping that mag bastard with the title means he won't be a full Raw roster member anytime soon.

All CM punk merchandise pulled from the official website, can't see him back for years if ever.

Still rumours of Sting joining the wwe but I'd rather not have him if it means Cena getting a crack at him.

Hopefully it'll shut up all the irritating twats on Raw

Loved Punk's work, one of my all time favourites but the chants do my head in now. Especially when AJ is cutting good a promo or having a decent match. Yes, she is married to him, well done.

CM Punk and the WWE have a court case because he hasn't been getting royalties. I believe he has CM Punk trademarked, something wrestlers never do and why WWE change their names when they sign them.

I think the WWE do need to make some sort of announcement confirming that he's gone and never coming back, that'll probably shut the chants up. Do something similar to what they did with Heyman's promo back in Chicago in February/March, and Stephanie's comment about him quitting at this years Payback.

aye that's right mate, supposedly it could delay the release of the game due to his character being involved in a lot of the stories on it.
There's some talk about them releasing him as a DLC, and if that's the case I don't think it'll affect the Showcase Mode they've made highlighting Cena/Punk's rivalry. It would just be similar to the Hogan/Warrior match on 30 Years of WrestleMania on 2k14.

Anyone else think the WWE made a massive mistake turning Goldust and Stardust heel?

There's no other teams in the Tag Team Division that could compete with The Uso's though that's the thing, seen The Wyatts face them over many times, Henry and Big Show are in this Rusev (and apparently soon to be Lesnar) feud, and Slator Gator  aren't ready yet. I don't mind them as heels but the WWE had no other option really.

What about Rybaxel? They seem to have been forgotten about.

Ryback got injured a few weeks back, delivering one of the best promos known to man moments before surgery, which has really knackered Curtis Axel.
RybAxel was a dodgy'n in the first place, two Heyman Guys who Paul E. abandoned in about five minutes. Axel's a canny technical wrestler and Ryback's obviously a big bastard, but they're missing what they'd need to succeed in the business imo.

That's the promo :lol::cool:

As far as forgotten tag teams go though, anyone know whatever happened to that 'New Nation' stable of Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston ?

Vince ditched the idea straight away, poor lads!

Didn't like Ryback when he first came onto the scene but infairness he was hugely over at least with the kids anyway, but then he would get beat in every ppv. I think he's still got potential, Curtis, not so much.
