Not this again. It just like in the mid 90's when everyone was dreaming about a WWF vs WCW battle. Look what happened when one did happen.

Sting is past it. If he was past it in TNA why suddenly is he a star in his prime if he signs for the WWE?
I'm not one of the ones who want it. It was just a video anyway. They had ones for Jake Roberts vs Dean Ambrose and Bad News Barrett vs Bad News Brown. But cause it's Taker vs Sting everyone thinks this video means it will happen. I hope it doesn't. If Sting really wanted to go to WWE, be at a WrestleMania or face Taker he should have went when WCW were bought and Vince gave him the chance.

Whats all this about an NXT takeover?

It's just the name of their PPV.

You seen the vid with HHH giving a seminar?

Love that GIF, Dean Ambrose is the best character on the roster.

Oh and yeah its a PPV.

It's only on the network I think though. I tried getting a stream for the last one but it was shit. Was awkward seeing Nash and Bret on the same Panel as apparently they don't like each other much.

Bret was better than Michaels though, thats the point. Michaels carried it cos Bret left and Vince allowed and wanted him to. He was up Vinces hoop along with HHH. The screw job did save the company though cos it was the beginning of the attitude era.

Edit: Stone Cold wasnt exactly a great wrestler. Fans bought more into his character/story lines than anything else.

Maybe in terms of pure ring work he was. Just.

But Michaels was a better showman, had more charisma and cut a much better promo.

History will remember Michaels as the bigger star.

Didn't have the technical abilities of hart and co. not even close.
Wow thats insightful! Is anyone suggesting he did match up to hart like cos not many throughout history could!

Austin was a superb worker, far more gifted than a man his size had a right to be

Wasnt really making it though was he until he was reinvented as stone cold.

That it was the character more than the actual ability that saw him be as big as he was. Unlike the likes of Bret Hart.
True that his character was right place right time but his charisma and mic skills certainly helped get that character over, and the ability to put on great matches despite his neck and knee injuries.

Speaking of Austin and Bret Hart, loved this promo vid

He was held down by WCW and then cut when he was injured. Paul Heyman saw his potential and let him vent in ECW. They gave him a shit gimmick and didn't let him talk in WWE and was called The Ringmaster.

Oh, right, I wasn't aware anyone suggested otherwise.

Austin's in ring work (prior to the pile driver) is far better than most casual fans (like you) realise.

He was nothing but a bald headed, beer swilling, brace wearing, bust necked, bully boy brawler. And that's the bottom line cos dangermows said so!
