Worst food you've eaten in or around a football stadium

Derby - first game under Keane. I bought a burger from a van in the car park of a pub full of Sunderland.
It seemed a tad pink but I was drunk and starving. Felt a bit off a bit later so went to the toilet which was worse than the one on Trainspotting. Projectile vomited everywhere.

First game of the season at the SoL a few years back. Bought a pie at half time which was in plastic. When I got back to my seat and opened it, it smelled funny and my mate said I shouldn't eat it, again, drunk and hungry, I did and 2as f***ing ill for the next 24 hours. I was supposed to be flying down to Stanstead the next day for my mate's wedding on the Monday but was too busy vomiting and shitting. Ended-up driving down and stopping every half an hour to hoy up.
I was fine the next day.

Funnily enough, I tend not to buy food at the match now.

This just goes to prove that if you think you are going to get something nice around or inside the ground you are in for a disappointment and/or the shits.
For places that are not outdoors , the worst meal I have had near the ground was the RAF Asian fusion place where the casino was. Could have cooked a more authentic Thai dish myself , was il for days . I noticed recently it’s now something else .

Food in football stadiums is, by and large, lifting. I always avoid it tbh. Normally take the bairns to McD’s on Wessington Way if they want grub, although the boy sometimes want a hot dog.

Had a steak sandwich at Greuther Furth which was delicious, on the whole I’ve found the food at German grounds to be better than the UK, though I’ve had no horror stories at Sunderland games so far.

The "hamburger" they used to sell at Roker Park was rancid and I can remember it vividly. I'm almost certain it was one of those tinned burgers, hoyed in boiling water for a few hours.

Got one multiple times as a bairn so only have myself to blame for that.

Best is either chips from crozier's or the sausage with bread and mustard at Sparta Prague.

My marra went to watch Berwick at Cowdenbeath a few years ago and in a pub he asked the barmaid for a vegetarian toastie. She stared at him they walked off. He was stood there ages when eventually she dumped a plate in front of him. It was two slices of toast with nothing in it. Empty.

He said, "What's this?"
She replied, "It's what you asked for. A vegetarian toastie!"

‘Westlers’ were the boiled hamburgers..

Worst has to be at Wembley they catch you out every time
The best was a chicken madras pie at Glossop north end watching South shields. You would have thought they had just poured a carton of the local Indians into some pastry absolutely beautiful with massive bits of chicken aswell

For me it was a burger outside the SOL from one of those vans near the ket shop.

Massive bun with a tiny slice of burger that had the smell of wet dog and tasted minging.

Shame cos they'd knocked 50p off the pre-match price.

Any other bad experiences?

I burnt my mouth on a Balti pie at the SoL once. Didnt think anything of it but destroyed my tongue for a week

grill time used to be my van of choice. always cheap and never nasty. both hot dog and double cheeseburger. 1.50 hot dog.

there used to be a asian/chinese place opposite the deaf club that we used to go before a match. did a set menu and get a few beers in.

A pastie from Liverpool St station when heading to Spurs.

I was ill for 3 days afterwards. God knows how long it was there waiting to be bought. It was rank.

At Leicester in 2015 I had a balti pie and the inside was so hot it burnt my fingers. There's hot and there's HOT
