whatever we personally think of nufc, i'm certain their coaching staff know if he's up for it.
no disrespect to your mate but i doubt he's remotely qualified to make such an assessment

What do you reckon, also do you think they would have made a meal out of trying to get an emergency loan in if they really thought he was top notch.

He's nowhere near ready for this level of football, and will really be doubting himself after his shocker against Spurs. We know what we need to do.

Just looking at his stats, he's 21 and before the Chelsea game he'd only ever played a couple of games for Gateshead in 2012.

Compare that to, say, Pickford from us who's a year younger but already played 76 professional games (according to wiki) and is now first choice for a League 1 team.

I'm not saying Pickford is better, but I'd certainly say he's had more experience and would be more prepared for first team football than Alnwick.

I've never seen either of them play regularly but Pickford is miles better.

I'm saying Pickford is better. And that, for all Ryders bluster about how NUFC poached Alnwick from us, is the reason why the lad is no longer at our club.

Ive spoke to couple of mags in gym recently and said the same.

Ive been saying here for weeks what one mag has been telling me, he said even after his good performance against chelsea he is shit, seems tottenham game proved right

Me mate reckons he had a couple of good saves against Chelsea but was mostly shite

Palms a lot of long range shots out straight in front of him from what I've seen. Get Johnson cutting in and hitting them low shots that bounce on the six yard line that he's quite good at.
