Worried mag mate re Alnwick

Jozy will trip over the ball, when clean through and it'll trickle through his legs..

I think too much has been made of the keeper situation. I think for us to win the game we have to come out on top against their pretty good centre midfield three. If we don't do that then we aren't going to get into the right areas to really test Alnwick. Both Spurs and Arsenal were at home and are far better than us. Our entire focus has to be on winning the midfield battle first and if we do the dodgy keeper situation will look after itself.

Its going to be down to who is most up for it . We have some momentum in this game and i just howp it continues. It will dee wel batter the c.unts 5 nowt :)

Who was that lad who was chucking them in for us when mick McCarthy was in charge ? Was it ingman ?
Exactly the same scenario, did a decent enough job but let In goals we otherwise wouldn't have conceded.

Question is, how would you feel if we had a keeper crisis and we had a 21 year old lad in nets who'd picked the ball out of his net 9 times in 3 games, seemed stuck to his line v Spurs and looked to have a poor understanding of his surroundings. It's like when Ingham played in nets v Ipswich in a crucial game. Nervy.

I just hope we exploit the potential opportunity. Typical if we had a first shot on target on 65 minutes!!
How would you feel in a crisis if you had to play a fifteen year old.
We did, in the top league, first division.

Get into him, hopefully poyet instructs to shoot on sight, plenty of very firm handshakes before the match, let him know he's in a match

iirc we drew 3-3 that day , times have changed and i reckon the lad will be having a few sleepless nights since especially with the daft lads abusing him on twitter (if he read them) if it was us in their predicament we would be shitting our pants , i hope i have the heart to feel sorry for him after he has a nightmare

Mags managment don't rate him, he'll begin his descent into the Northern Premier in the summer.

Just looking at his stats, he's 21 and before the Chelsea game he'd only ever played a couple of games for Gateshead in 2012.

Compare that to, say, Pickford from us who's a year younger but already played 76 professional games (according to wiki) and is now first choice for a League 1 team.

I'm not saying Pickford is better, but I'd certainly say he's had more experience and would be more prepared for first team football than Alnwick.
My Bradford supporting mate says Pickford has been outstanding for them

Absolutely - that's where it will be won - however I do hope we drop a few corners on top of him early and get some good balls into the box. He's going to be nervy as, and we need to be ruthless. I think Poyet is pretty ruthless like that though.

I have a feeling that they will have discussed it and worked on this, just a gut feeling though

Shame not many in our squad could hit a barn door. Play ugly and get as many crosses in the box as possible.
