Million games to lose bottom of each group and 2 worst third places , bloody hell.

I honestly picked a team in commies on Sunday and couldn't believe it when I asked one of the lads how many was in it. I knew there was more than 32 but I guessed 40 , and i even complained at that :)

It used to be called the world cup 'finals'.
But 48 teams doesn't feel right..and they want to increase it to more. if so, why bother with qualifying? Just the top 62 ranked teams enter straightaway, or top 12 from each region.

I totally understand why they have done it...
Some could say greed for more money - I personally don't believe there is any corruption in the game or with the governing bodies. no way.
Some may say it's to offer the smaller teams / or not as strong teams a chance to compete...thats why there is qualifying.

anyway, yeah not that bothered.
I will watch most of the england group games, but not stopping up till 2am should we get through etc.

Its supposed to have an elite like feel to it, with the odd shock inclusion.

Shouldnt have shitloads of shite like Iran n Saudi n Scotland in it imo. Totally devalues the event.
