You aren’t allowed to leave your lane so that should be a disqualification.

Thinking about it, I wonder if he got a let off as technically he ran further and he didn't impede any other athletes.

Would have been different if the guy next to him had been quicker and he'd ruined his race

Indoor middle distance is brutal. I hope Elsom is ok, watched a few

Tight 200m track leads to it. One of the female British 1500m runners earlier was having to constantly chop back and watch her stride. She qualified easily enough but could easily have fallen.

I like Lyles. Find Coleman a bit gothic, he's like a spinter version of Fields of the Nephilim. Very fast though!

That's what I don't like, to a degree. I want athletes to pretend to be on Thunderbird 4 after the race. I don't know either man though, Coleman may well breastfeed orphaned lambs between the indoor season and the outdoor season.

Credit to them both, especially Lyles. He’s trying to make a name for himself (Netflix documentary, trying to be the new Bolt) and could easily have ducked these games as Coleman was always the favourite,
But he didn’t.
