Woltemade wants away

Larsen was more than that. They’d still get at least 75m back for the pair, probably closer to 90m.

Wissa is 30 this year, injured for the second time this season, played the majority of his career in Ligue 2. Larsen was wildly overpriced but you're buying his peak years. You'd be buying the tail end of Wissa's career. £15m, tops.

Rummenigge, who's still on Bayern's board said "I can only congratulate those in Stuttgart for finding an idiot who paid that much money. Because we certainly wouldn’t have done that in Munich".

Newcastle will have a very weak hand in the market this summer, especially if they don't get CL. And the last thing they'll want is another Isak saga. £25m + performance-related add ons is his current value imo.

£120m they spent on him and Wissa. Extraordinary. You'd get £40m in resale if you were very lucky.
It will have to be to someone in Germany and st that price there’s maybe what two clubs that could pay it. Those two would they want him?. Bayern could probably afford to buy him and him not be a starter etc but anyone else he’d be there too signing. I mean wasn’t jobe Dortmunds record signing and that was at €30m. I can some sort of loan with an obligation even for a team like Bayern who may not want to spunk that much on him incase his early form doesn’t repeat. We’ve seen loads of lads his age have a break out season then struggle to replicate it.

I reckon he will go out on a loan back to Germany, can't see any of them clubs prepared to pay what the Mags would want and its seems Bayerns priority is to keep kane for 3 more seasons

If Bayern want him and Woltemade wants that move then there's no real path for Newcastle to demand big bucks, unless they gamble that someone else will come in for him.

I don't think Woltemade is a bad player but he's a very niche one - not a striker, not a number 10, only makes sense if you build the team around him or else you're a Bayern with a massive squad. £70m is an absolutely insane fee.

Nail squarely on head. There is definetly a good player there. His performances for Germany demonstrate that.

I think his international record is a bit overblown. He has scored 4 goals for Germany against poor opposition - 1 against Northern Ireland, 2 against Luxembourg and 1 in a 6-0 win against Slovakia.

Eberechi Eze scored 3 in qualifiers, all off the bench.

I think he's a very decent player and still very young. He's not a striker tho, and he was never worth anything close to what they paid for him, which has probably put far too much pressure on the lads shoulders and their pissy fanbase.
