Honestly it’s turned into mass hysteria over one journalist who isn’t very reliable saying Still is off to Lens. Still wants to manage in England for a start.
Tbf if you got offered Lens or Sunderland I reckon most manager would pick Lens at this point in time.

Who knows what's true or not though. Were a basket case at current and I think a lot of managers know that. We need to do some excellent persuading (or sling the Dosh about).

Next season, Sunderland will try to clinch promotion to the Premier League that failed this year. The English had a nightmare season, finishing the Championship in sixteenth place. The year ended with Dodds, who was entrusted with the team on an interim basis last February after the sacking of Beale, who in turn took over from Tony Mowbray.

Wicky may be the right choice, despite coming from an exemption. His adventure at the helm of Young Boys, which lasted almost two years, was nevertheless very positive, with the conquest of two trophies. A Super League and a domestic cup for the 47-year-old former midfielder, with stints at Hamburg and Atletico Madrid. For him, who has also worked in the United States, in particular in Chicago, this would be his first experience in England.

Oh I'm not denying there is and was greater problems, but that Mowbray was a known quantity historically and for the most part that was and is championship level. Last year was an accumulation of issues, and unfortunately and no point did we look to rectify effectively
We are a championship club atm nothing more.the idea we are anything else Or anywhere near good enough to go up without significant investment is delusional at best.
Say we get a new manager in, does anyone think this lot will be ambitious and put funds in to try and be promoted or more likely we sell out best player by a country mile and buy more substandard dross for the most part

Of course if they’d provided him with strikers fit for purpose and a holding midfielder it does open up tactical options.
As it stands now,, we have no manager shite strikers and no cdm.almost like the hierarchy don’t know their arse from their elbow and when mowbray dared to point out the obvious and ask for the tools needed, he was gotten rid of to be replaced by beale and then dodds and a slow plod till the end of the season with zero plan in mind

Id be amazed if we were anywhere near the playoffs next season and we may well get the spiel of building for the future if more untried kids arrive

We are only going one way finish bottom Portsmouth will finish higher than us

Then why bother having a manager at all then. The idea should always be improvement. I had no issue if they sacked mowbray and had a replacement they felt was more suitable and aligned. I have issue with the fact they don't think anything through. I'm hoping this summer is they time the finally rectify it
