On the back of everything that's happened in the last 6 months, which has resulted in most fans feeling that those in charge have absolutely no idea what they're doing, there's not going to be any other outcome.

Of course if they’d provided him with strikers fit for purpose and a holding midfielder it does open up tactical options.
As it stands now,, we have no manager shite strikers and no cdm.almost like the hierarchy don’t know their arse from their elbow and when mowbray dared to point out the obvious and ask for the tools needed, he was gotten rid of to be replaced by beale and then dodds and a slow plod till the end of the season with zero plan in mind

Id be amazed if we were anywhere near the playoffs next season and we may well get the spiel of building for the future if more untried kids arrive
 
Seems hard to believe we are moving on from Still as the top target, IF we sacked off Maric for him. Would you renege on an offer without ensuring the newly 'available' first choice was going to come? So you sack off Maric, then sack off Still and move on to others?

Did we sack off Maric or did he get discounted because we heard he was likely to be part of Kompany’s team at Bayern?

I hope you’re right as I’m wanting Still but that reporter was first to report on the Mundle signing back in January

Oh I'm not denying there is and was greater problems, but that Mowbray was a known quantity historically and for the most part that was and is championship level. Last year was an accumulation of issues, and unfortunately and no point did we look to rectify any of them effectively
 
It appears they burnt their bridges on Maric when Still became available. But now for whatever reason they find that Still is not their choice anymore. Hope they have a decent 3rd choice in the pipeline or I can see another panic appointment incoming.
