Errr it says the Gaffer is fed up with the Maja situation and is running out of time if we have to bring two strikers in........surely targets have been lined up in the last 4 months?
And how would that boss eyed bugger know? He knows the square root of fuck all about what gans on at his own club man. How you can think he knows what goes on at ours is a mystery to me.

4 months to plan the winda........

"Second, there has been absolutely no approach for him or formal communication from any other club.

"That is me being entirely truthful.

"There may have been communication from other clubs to Josh via third parties - that happens - and I'm not crying about that because that happens in football all the time, and what that might potentially lead to I have no idea.

"What I would say is that I'm starting to edge towards the stage where I am fed up with it and I think we need to resolve it one way or the other and have clarity about what is going to happen.

"There are a few different potential scenarios in that - Josh leaves, Josh stays, Josh signs a new contract, Josh leaves and comes back on loan - but we need to get to one, because it is dragging on and I need to know to allow me to plan.

"I've been quite open about our hunt for a striker but that is if Josh stays. If Josh goes, it becomes two [strikers] and that's not easy to do in 14 days.

"We're finding it hard enough [to get one] at the moment, without having to find two.

aha so criticising the maja situation and criticisng the palyer more than the club..not having a pop at the owners at all..,they cant resolve asituation when there are no offers..

Today at 03:44 pm - Paul Cook has refused to put a price tag on Will Grigg and insists he has no desire to sell the striker – after confirming Sunderland’s latest bid ‘fell short’ of Wigan Athletic’s valuation.

So he doesn't want to sell him but if we meet the valuation they will sell?

Funds are available to compete at this level. I don't see what people are struggling with?

The days of spending millions are gone for the time being. As was said by the new regime when they came in, you don't need to spend that much to compete.

The sooner people realise we are in League 1 the better. Piss poor financial management has got us into this mess and the new lads aren't about to wreck the club even more.

Buying a couple of players to get us promoted and who can play in the champ won’t bankrupt us

Your view is way way to extreme

We’ve spent nothing on the team, bit more investment and I think we’d be more comfortable

Spot on. Noticed in the last few weeks people are starting to panic as we obviously arent going to walk the league.
I bet a large proportion of them work with Mags who are taking the piss.

Strange post

Just don’t want to spend anymore time in league one ever in our history, let’s get out of here and never come back

I personally think they would take any offer, even a free if anyone would take Cattermole or Oviedo, this would surely free up tens of thousands of pounds a week in wages and let’s face it they wouldn’t really be missed would they?

Cattermole would be massively missed he’s miles better than power

Wigan manager confirms we've had two bids turned down. Says he doesn't want to sell him but if an acceptable offer is made then he could go.

Unless I'm missing a link I can't see any of the above quotes, I can only see comments relating to the Checkatrade tie?

What happened to the biggest budget In league 1 and a substantial budget for most championship clubs , time for the owners to give a little back the fans have done their part imo

Ashley Fletcher signing on loan soon I’ve been told via a wifey who knows and lives near him.

Had his training gear delivered to his house today. Been told he’s wearing the number 9... not sure what that means for our current number 9
