I see I caught quite a few with my 'force' comment. Let's just say they'll do much better than last season.
Ah right it was a trap ... Was it when you were wanking all over their summer signings last season and you said they "could be a force" with them

No matter who he signs for and how well he actually does, there is no way he can live up to this thread. I think we have created a monster.

Don't really see where he'd play for the mags, isn't De Jong going to be their number 10 type? Can't imagine much defensive protection coming from a midfield 2 of Sissoko and Wijnaldum...

They finished 5th with a team that seems on par with their current one (Aside from Demba Ba who's better than their current strikers) so why not?

Try harder to hide your allegiances man, that team that finished fifth would batter our current bunch of mugs.

its ridiculous and now hes going to go to Everton !!!!

Wijnaldum is a massive signing, and we'd both love him at Sunderland.

With a team including Perez, De Jong, Cabella, Janmaat, Wijnaldum and Sissoko, Cisse(?) they could be a force.

If he goes to the Mags I'd imagine it would a big chunk of their budget and they are still woefully short at the back and defensive midfield so they'd best hope he's a world beater .

Not sure we really need a defensive midfielder. We have Tiote (Who McClaren may fancy from Twente days) Anita, Colback and Sissoko who can and have all played there. And Abeid.

Our defence, wingers and strikers are the issue. Wijnaldum can play on the wing.

Ashley is sticking to his word in stumping up the cash fair play to him, I wish I could say the same about Short but it's not looking that way.

We havent actually bought anyone yet. If we sign Wijnaldum and Mitrovic for the fees quoted then I would agree. Strongly doubt both though. Hope im wrong.

Looking that way though and even if you didn't sign him the deal is agreed around £15m only personal terms to sort out I believe so the money is there at least.

Janmaat, Perez and Cisse all had good seasons and make up the spine of their team iirc.
Cabella has taken a year to get used to Premier League football and could be like a new signing for them.
Wijnaldum and Sissoko are tremendous players who will be a big attacking threat in midfield.

Just depends whether the wolly with the brolly can get them working hard.

sums up your complete ignorance of football
