And ours! I must work at both clubs. Sad truth is neither of us are good enough to sign good players in there prime. Occasionally we may fluke one, but most of the time its oldies or massive risks. Graham Carr does an alright job but I dont think either of our scouting teams is good enough from track record.

Always amazes me how much people on here think they know about me, are absolutely certain of in fact to the point of personal judgement and condemnation, that is just total and utter rubbish.

It's up there among other classics, like people thinking they are important and clever enough to judge a stranger through a computer screen then, without the merest awareness of irony, absolutely butchering them for being "arrogant and condescending". Criticising me for accidentally rubbing people up the wrong way with my tone, absolutely aghast that I could possibly talk down to someone, whilst they pat themselves on the back for taking part in active pack cyber-bullying. Oh, and the ultimate classic of sitting on a football Internet message board - tearing strips off me for publishing opinions on football on the Internet.

Wish I was proper paragons of virtue and experts on everyone like you lot, like. :lol:

i seem to remember this stage last summer and the usual bedwetters like Trading Places and TrRobot on here were crying cos the Mags signed Cabella and Riveire and so were so much better than us.

I never have worked for them. I've been published by them - on Sunderland - but I never have and am not on their payroll. Just like I've been published in dozens of other places.

I've written more for ALS than the Chronicle, will continue to next season too if the want me to, and I don't work for them. I don't work for SBN and I've been published literally hundreds of times there. Probably been in The Durham Times more than the Chronicle too.

I'm lucky enough to make a living out of covering football/sport now, but that doesn't mean I've just sacked off the people who helped me get there.

You'd think people on here did my tax returns going by how much they think they about me. :lol:

People criticise you for writing badly written and poorly researched articles for a shit paper. You always find a way to defend yourself, but what people find offensive is the content, not you as a person. Dress it up all you like, you've stepped in cow shit and now you're paying the price for it.
