Why?

We will always be turd Im afraid thats why we enjoyed the cup so much this season such a shame we didnt get there again as we are in for a long f***ing road over the next few years IMO - we could have Ronaldo and Messi and billions in the bank and mid table would be our best hope

But it is coming to an end. Why?

We need to wait and see if it does come to an end.

I thought it was coming to an end last season but it didn't. We were unable to improve the squad in the transfer windows so it's no surprise we're struggling against other top flight teams.

Why is this happening again?
After 77,85,87,91,97,03 and 05, why are we going to be relegated again ( 90% chance in my opinion)?
What is it about SAFC that makes us so f***ing shit?
Some blame the fans, noticeably non attendees on here, but that is nonsense.
Location? The vermin up the road manage to overcome this and Boro signed world stars.
It is the mentality of the club as a whole?
What is the answer and why does this keep repeating itself? I simply haven't a clue what it is but like many others, I want someone or something to blame. But right now, I cannot think what....

Location is a big factor. Boro went down in 1997 after signing world stars.

Newcastle were relegated only three years ago. They too have had trouble attracting players at times and hoyed ludicrous money at players to get them to come.

We spent £11m on two strikers who have scored one goal and £12m on striker who hasn't scored for months.

So first you tell me what I allegedly said, now I am implying.
See what you make of these words.....fuck off you total bellend

You obviously think we are somehow entitled do stay in the Prem forever and if we don't you need to find someone to blame. Still I can see from your posts you're a bit challenged so I won't confuse you any further with big words or anything that resembles a concept...

What a lovely fella.
It seems you are confused, every time I post something, you are seeing something totally different.
And what to make of this post here >>>>> http://www.readytogo.net/smb/thread...ace-match-thread.892406/page-54#post-17240332

Well except for the fact you weren't at the match

we've spent so much money we shouldn't really be in this position, but chronic mismanagement has ensured we are. Are you saying we should just accept that? [DOUBLEPOST=1395859520][/DOUBLEPOST]Why do you keep mentioning Wakefield? Have they even got a professional club?

What choice do you have? It's Ellis' money. Chelsea wasted £50m on Torres. Utd look like they have wasted the same amount on Mata and Fellani. Liverpool spent £25m on ***** Boy. Villa paid £24m for Bent. Spurs have spent 70m+ over Summer to go backwards.

We're not in the top half dozen spenders. We will never be. So we will always start each season at risk of relegation as two thirds of the Prem does....

Wakefield is just one example of about a dozen I gave of a town with a bigger population and probably more money in its catchment area than us.the list is to show how much we have consistently overachieved in recent years....

Do you live in Wakefield?

Wakefield? Over achieved? You're on a windup.

LOL No.
Ignore it if you like - there are still Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Coventry etc on the list...

So where do you live?
I don't give a fuck about other teams, not sure why you do.
Oh and in my opening post, one relegation was not even from the top flight. I just don't like relegation you see ( you won't see as you choose what you read)

Matters not the politics Sam Allosaurus team were booed off ie fans pissed off so surely fukin easy win coz they're shyte

Sunderlands easyiest home win if Poyet suss's the useless cockneys out

We missed the bus in the eraly 60's, simple as that. Having said that we have had a relatively decent time compared to 'others' of relative comparison e.g. there are dozens of clubs in the football league that would swap places with our 'shitness' since then. It is only our fans that skew the whole thing with blind loyalty & ridiculous turn outs, most other clubs have accepted they are shit.

We have had opportunities to push ahead and really establish ourselves but we have managed to mess it up each and every time..

1964…huge fuck up right from the off, starting the first season back in Div 1 with no manager and a 15 year old in goal.
1973-74. Failed to get off to a good start and soon unrest among players who were now household names. Watson and Tueart leaving.
1977. Young players came through with a flourish but Jimmy Hill helped fuck us that time.
1999-2001. The arrival of Philips and the partnership with Quinn gave us a goal scoring threat second to none but we failed to make the investment and it fell apart.

There are no doubt others but those stand out for me.

Geography is a massive factor and the main factor IMO, boro and the scum both had their days in the sun in times when they were paying enormous sums of money relative to other clubs and they were on a crest of a wave with Sky lapping it up. The players that went there really felt they were going places and they were paid top dollar to boot. Unfortunately for us we are still percieved as perennial strugglers and if players dont feel you are going places they'll simply not want to come, the ones that do come and do well will always be getting their heads turned although that can be said for pretty much all mid to lower level teams. We had that feeling of going places under Reidy and then briefly under Keane and Bruce but I can't see it returning any time soon, especially now with FFP, lets be honest if you were a good player would SAFC really appeal?

Of course we have no divine right to be in the Premier League but with the infrastructure thats in place and the fanbase we've got we really should still be surviving quite comfortably, thats what narks. Unfortunately the best we can hope for these days is comfortable survival with an odd cup run to break the boredom. This is why so many, me included, were so upset with what we did at Hull. I do think we'll be relegated this year and I do think we'll come straight back up, maybe its what we need to have a complete overhaul and get a bit of that impetus going again. Who knows but one thing's for sure, its going to take a lot of money. Is Short in it for the long haul? I hope so but I have nagging doubts.[DOUBLEPOST=1395979390][/DOUBLEPOST]

I truly believe if we'd had Short as chairman at that point we might have won a title by now.
