Why is this happening again?
After 77,85,87,91,97,03 and 05, why are we going to be relegated again ( 90% chance in my opinion)?
What is it about SAFC that makes us so f***ing shit?
Some blame the fans, noticeably non attendees on here, but that is nonsense.
Location? The vermin up the road manage to overcome this and Boro signed world stars.
It is the mentality of the club as a whole?
What is the answer and why does this keep repeating itself? I simply haven't a clue what it is but like many others, I want someone or something to blame. But right now, I cannot think what....

tbh, fan-blamers are nearly always attendees.

Boro and the mags are shite, lurching from disaster to disaster. They're just shite in a different way.

The region is a big factor, imo.

The only things that remain the same over the time periods you've mentioned are the location of the club and the fanbase.

We have never possessed a quality midfielder who can thread a ball through and always went for workhorse types, nearest we got was malbrangue who was too old and looking for a payday, we destroyed henderson by trying to make him a workhorse and look at him now, box to box, defence splitting passesand will go on to be the next gerrard, always been the middle of the park for me

Utter Baloni as usual

We aren't. You may think that and thats fine, your opinion. We could still stop up.
I firmly believe we were when beat Stoke and the Mags, however since the Cup Final the dynamics and the morale of the team have took a nosedive.

Poyet looks sick of it and really think the rot is there with this current set of players. He's the right man for the job but the vast majority of the playing staff can fuck off for me.

Schwarz, Hutchinson, Roy, Reyna... Unless you just meant within the last five seasons.

We buy mentally weak, tired, past their best players who see the club as an easy meal ticket or retirement home.
Partly the location factor too as overpaying said players is the only way we can attract them here.
The dross we've signed AND then given astronomical wages to is quite staggering.

It's f***ing mental.

Some of the decisions at the top level are baffling, especially recently.

"selling your best players is a relegation model" - sells our best players
Fed up of the likes of Bruce spunking money on overpriced shite - Appoint a DOF who is nothing but an Agent without any scouting knowledge
Have a squad desperately lacking in quality - signs a load of kids and squad players from Europe
Struggling to score goals coming up to January - signs a forward who'll take months to settle
Appoints a no-nonsense manager to overhaul the club - sacks him when the overhaul kicks in
Main forward is injured and crying out for a new striker to lead the line - signs a forward who's already failed in this league, as well as numerous others

and the big one(for me anyway)

Finally get the club, staff, players and fans all pulling in the same direction after a trip to wembley - destroy that the very next game by fielding 'That' side against Hull and pissing off a lot of fans and destroying any positive atmosphere

I'd say at times it does seem like things transpire against us but we don't bloody help ourselves either

One thing it certainly isn't are the fans imo

Its probably a mixture of things - poor decision making by board / owners / chairmen going back years, poor player recruitment & contracts going back years, poor appointments both managerial and other going back years, more interested in safc business off the pitch in recent years maybe?

If any other business had been run like that there would be major questions asked of board etc.
