Season after season it’s the same excuses we are a premier league club with a third rate coach
Wrong, we're a League 1 club. Exactly where we deserve to be

Your wasting your time mate, pizza cup & play offs are great.
Playing devils advocate, as I honestly think we will beat Ipswich... But what if this isn't streaky shit ? what if we lose and drop out of the playoffs and are actually a bit crap this season. If that is the case and we lose the loanees come the summer, then the plan has misfired and we've wasted another year of our lives.Haha. Thought you’d say that. If we aint peddling him then he better sort this streaky shit out
we dont have a very low cost base...we are losing a fortune very week..and have huge costs..-Low cost base and 32k mugs keep turning up. The very model of sustainability. Ambition costs.
emm,you seen the clubs books like, the current one's not the last financial years.we dont have a very low cost base...we are losing a fortune very week..and have huge costs..-

No one is entitled to anything, this is Sunderland not Newcastle.Wrong, we're a League 1 club. Exactly where we deserve to be
yes but that just means we would lose money in the champo as well...no one is sayig we wouldnt....You'd need to show me some evidence of that as personally I think you're wrong. We'd certainly need a lot more for recruitment and wages in the Championship and the extra money coming in wouldn't cover the increase in costs.
so...what can we deduce? the next set of accounts will cover the period of the pandemic when there was no football...and then no crowds..you think we didnt lose money in that peiod?emm, you seen the clubs books like, the current one's not the last financial years.
Well given the players would have been on furlough, and the bills at the stadium would have been down due to the place being shut, for months on end, the office being shut, until recently, and the training ground also being shut, due to the pandemic, i doubt the bills would have been that high to be fair, but when the new set of accounts come out, i will take a keen interest in reading them as always as i am sure will you, we will find out at that point of course which of us is right.yes but that just means we would lose money in the champo as well...no one is sayig we wouldnt....
the club lost £2.6m in its last financial year..and that was a better year financially than this one.

We would lose a hell of a lot more in the champo, unless we are competitive.Increased wages, current contracts that may have promotion clauses etc etc.The club are getting 30,000 gates hobbling about the top end of this lge, gates will plummet if recent results were rolled out weekly in champo.FWIW i dont think KLD will be sacking LJ anytime soon as i dont think he will want to go up until he feels we can compete. So get ready for longer in this div, imhowe dont have a very low cost base...we are losing a fortune very week..and have huge costs..-
Hopefully the club make the right decision if we lose. 3 weeks ago it was all rosy if i remember rightly. Im 70/30 in favour of sacking him. If he gets us out this rut and god forsaken league then i’ll be happy with him.Playing devils advocate, as I honestly think we will beat Ipswich... £2.6m, and how many have left the wage bill since then......plus we're still getting compo for academy kids. Without a doubt the third division is the cheapest place for the club to reside and it doesn't appear to me that there's much urgency to exit it.yes but that just means we would lose money in the champo as well...no one is sayig we wouldnt....

there was a period when the players were playing in an empty stadium..thats when the losses would have been vast. rather than earlier on when there was no football, another for example is Davison, the chief operatng officer, he would be on a six figure salary i guess, and ewas never furloughed?Well given the players would have been on furlough, and the bills at the stadium would have been down due to the place being shut, for months on end, the office being shut, until recently, and the training ground also being shut, due to the pandemic, i doubt the bills would have been that high to be fair, but when the new set of accounts come out, i will take a keen interest in reading them as always as i am sure will you, we will find out at that point of course which of us is right.
Being a premier league team doesn't bother me , quite the opposite, it's just having hope that keeps me going , building something and not being a laughing stock , having a reputation of being a good club with great support , something we can be proud of , the premiership give me brewers droopThe bad times make the good times feel better. We’ll be back in the Premier League at some point, but for now we’ve got to put up with being shite for a bit longer
how many have joiend the wage bill since then? the £2.6m loss covers a period when the club didnt employ a DOF or a chief operating officer or mnay of the other roles that have been created since KLD joined. The club also paid £500k for a new pitc..that £500k probably accounts for the wages of two higher earning players that left.£2.6m, and how many have left the wage bill since then......plus we're still getting compo for academy kids. Without a doubt the third division is the cheapest place for the club to reside and it doesn't appear to me that there's much urgency to exit it.
the urgency is the club will post another loss this year...KD would rathernot have his family's hard earned covering lossses..he is here for a profit over the longer term£2.6m, and how many have left the wage bill since then......plus we're still getting compo for academy kids. Because if you don't put up with it, it makes no difference.Season after season it’s the same excuses we are a premier league club with a third rate coach

safc had the 8th highest wya bill in the premier league..we got humped by teams spending way less money.Because if you don't put up with it, it makes no difference.
Also, the premier league wasn't the enjoyable experience many seem to remember, for the majority of it, we watched us getting stuffed by teams that had spent way more money. It's was neither competitive or entertaining, with the odd game as an exception.
Spot on ,think we will know a lot more end of Jan window.I hope to hell we are wrong LA but i feel as if we are being strung along.£2.6m, and how many have left the wage bill since then......plus we're still getting compo for academy kids.
