Who actually thinks we will stay up?

If we can get back Pickford, kirchoff and cattermole back soon and all 3 remain injury free for the rest of the season, we have small chance of staying up.

If we keep having to start Larsson and rodwell we'll be lucky to make it to 20 points

We have a chance certainly. We're not cut adrift despite winning only 4 games all season which is amazing really and shows how shit the rest of the bottom 6 are too. IF and it's a massive IF we can bring in a couple of astute signings with the PVA money and we can keep the majority of the squad fit (apart from the long termers) then we certainly have a chance. Moyes needs to find a way of making us less of a soft touch away from home as we need to sneak a couple of wins from somehwhere

We are down this season. Far to many injuries.
If we do manage to stay up. We'll be having this same conversation a year from now and will keep on having it until our eventual demise.
If we get new owners with plenty of cash then we may do okay

100% spot on there lad, fully agree, definitely feels different too and not for the better
After last year, I genuinely thought that was then end of the struggles. Thing is, even if we survive this season, it would just be more of the same again. Our perilous financial position dictates this. We just have to get on with it and hope thing do eventually get better.

Knowone on soccer Saturday that's for sure....

With the current squad, no chance, we need at least 2-3 players in by Tuesday, I fear a horrible spring/summer....I won't be good to be around ...

The OP asked for our opinions and that's what I've done. Hope to hell I'm wrong but honestly can't see us getting anywhere near 36 points esp with Anichebe out for 2/3 months. He was vital in our mini revival, and unless we get a player of his type on loan before the window shuts, imho we are goners.
I will be delighted if you are taking the piss come the end of the season.;)
This year low thirties enough for survival. U can bookmark this :)

If we could bring in Adam and Keane (fk me, how we've fallen) I would be way more confident. However, if after the window we're still left with Borini and Januzaj supporting Defoe, I think our number's up.

It's probably my Jinx fault to be honest cause I said I'd bring me daughter over for a match for her 18th birthday in October (her and her boyfriend always slagging me for following the lads) and typically my luck that it will probably be against some Championship minnows on a rainy day in a half empty stadium, she'll never come over with me again and they'll slag me even more!!
Seriously though I thought a couple of times after using the get out of jail card that the club would learn a lesson and not fall into the same position but we have consistently, defo need a cash injection but there also seems to be a bit of tension or issue of some kind in the dressing room, the team just seem so lifeless or disinterested at times, I find it hard to get me head around, they need motivation but can't see where it's going to come from

frankly i am not sure.. so many things at the moment are in flux, and what with the injuries to key players.. i would say 60/40 at the moment on being relegated.

Me. But then I was also as confident in the 15 point season.Remember going up home for the Bolton match that season and seeing a load of their lads at Wetherby. Got talking with the .....well we only need a win to get us going.....................never did come iirc:oops:
But still, only a win in it and just as confident. Must be, we all support SAFC so always live in hope;);)

I know we're closer to survival than last year at the same point but even then I still thought we would stay up. I have no faith that we will this year even if we sign three of four players now. Anyone think we will stay up? If so why do you think we will
I think we will stay up .....Boro' going down with Hull & Swansea
