I've gone for the Glen Garioch & Benrinnes. Looked at the Teaninich but I'm awash with indie bottlings of that.
I'm a big lover of the Glen Garioch 12 OB so will be interesting to compare them.

Bottle kill on the Whiskybroker Arran tonight. Farewell old friend.

Finished dry January a little early and opened the whiskybroker 36yr Cameronbridge, up there with the best grain whiskys I've had.
Absolute bargain despite it being 50ml. Was in stock for a long time too. Picked up the Abbey Whisky exclusive Bimber tonight despite it being overpriced.

I just assumed it would be something else.
Why the mysterious label? They bottled Caol Ila not long before Christmas..
Possibly to do with naming rights for the cask?

Just assuming a peated Caol Ila at their “ normal” level.

I was a bit surprised when it didn't say as Whiskybroker usually state it if it's peated. I had an unpeated Caol Ila a year or 2 ago (not from them) and didn't particularly rate it.

Aye normally mentioned…just assumed normal Caol Ila profile which is why I thought might be worth trying with long PX finish
Only £40 so not really a gamble
