Entering a competition you think you have no chance of winning is both weak and pointless.

With that attitude we should just fold the club and take up netball!

We should aim to win the Premier league. Of course it’s possible. The mags nearly did it and Leicester did do it.

We need to keep improving, grow our fanbase, generate more revenue, attract better players and a whole raft of other factors and who knows where we will be in 5 or ten years.

Brighton was the first game of AFCON so we were adapting, Burnley we just didn't turn up and it was there first home game back in the PL. They're the 2 games I really felt like we let points slip. I think it's at least 3 points dropped there.

Would be happy with this, would be ecstatic if we could win a trophy - even the second rate one that the visitors won.

The way the premier league is now with european slots, you don't need to be exceptionally good to sneak a conference league place. Top 5 usually gets champions league, so you can finish as low as 8th and get a european place.

That needs to be the aim for us. Be one of those clubs that never looks like getting relegated but sneaks the odd European campaign. Premier league sides should always get to the latter stages of the conference league, and who knows what happens from there.
 
Of course we could get Europe. We'd be daft to think we couldnt given how our season has gone.

But the way the league is, so could a number of other teams.

At the beginning of the season I said "a good season is we stop up on a last minute dodgy penalty we didnt deserve"

A great season is we stop up with 5 or 6 games to go

Anything else is phenomenal.

Id like Europe, I wont be heartbroken if we miss out. Simple as that

top half would be fantastic and must help when attracting new players in he summer.

stretch target would be Euro Conference League which for most SAFC fans would mean completing football.

I'd love to see us in that competition man. Maybe more so than the Europa or Champions League.

Imagine thousands of Mackems descending on some mad city in Kazakhstan for an away game.

In fairness, we were the better team first half but we stunk, second half.
We haven't really been poor in any game: we've only had poor halves. Man U we matched them, second half and we were better than Wist Am second half, but the damage was done.
