Every clubs fans want to be there.

You expect to be there. Its took Spurs 10 years of slow progression to get where they are. You expect it after one good season when you finished 5th. You were a force in the 90s but thats nearly 25 year ago. You are a long way from challenging at that level again but if you dont get a top 8 finish in the next 3 seasons your fans will be calling for Rafa or Ashley to go.

I think he should be sacked now for not having the league won by March.

Boro are perfect example. Your club is a nothingness.
To you maybe - similar to your club being a 'nothingness' to most fans around the country.

A lot of your fans seem to think your club is too 'big' to have to play in a league below the likes of Bournemouth , or to entertain the thought of having a manager that's not some sort of world beater - yet you go on and on about your black n white friends being 'deluded'.

(Distant) history or not - your club is on the same level as Burton Albion, Bristol City etc...

Oooof.

100%

If you were an ambitious, stable, financially secure club, you'd be a bigger draw than Brighton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Stoke, Swansea, Watford, West Brom, and whomever else we come up with.

Only left Southampton out because they're such a well run club at the minute.

Bournemouth, Southampton, Leicester and Crystal Palace have all benefitted from entering administration.

Sometimes I think after the 19 point debacle we might have been better off.

Even me auld man barely remembers when we had a decent team and were challenging for honours on a regular basis (mid 50's)and he's 76!

As some have said that is history but we have been in the top flight for the last 10 seasons which made us the 8th longest running current Prem club and we have missed an opportunity to establish ourselves where history tells us we should be.

So if you take away the bad managers from the good ones the average we are left with is Steve Bruce. Great

I know, it's tragic.

There's a few clubs who haven't. It's not really administration that benefited them, it was the right leadership that followed.

Heavy dose of reality for us right there. Sad but true.
