We must have an agreement with someone to take over close season when they are available. Why else would we wait instead of getting someone in now who can use the rest of this season to bed in, learn about the squad and drill them on his playing style? Otherwise the new manager will have to do all of that at the start of next season, meaning we could potentially struggle the first few months.

I would be very happy if its the ginger bros, a young progressive manager with modern ideas that can potentially be here for years and build his team.
