... will there be a flood of new members and how many will be Sunderland?

It would be good to see new people joining and decent threads started on various subjects.

I can see Sunderland receiving a real boost from this and not just on the pitch.

Those Trans-Atlantic flights are quite long so we may have a few new lurkers

You really are milking this

Sunderland should come across to Vancouver as we have MLS roots there

Plus Vancouver are absolute shite so we can hammer them and will give me a great excuse for a weekend there too :p

Fark me. I'm in Vancouver now, just 2 blocks up from their stadium.... looks nice from outside and above from the tower. Missed a tour by 10 minutes so back to the hotel for drinks.

Yeh, i know, look at me, look at me, I'm in Canada

Dunno if you are local to vancouver or on a trip there but some stuff you should look at ...

If you like a craft beer then look at brewery tours in Mount Pleasant - Brassneck brewery, main street brewery and electric bicycle are great

Also if you want a cheap epic breakfast then look up bons off broadway

Vancouver is a fantastic place - was at a craft beer festival/ punk concert at the PNE in the summer which was great

After 30 years of following SAFC up and down the country, traveling 3 hours for a home match and being the only Sunderland supporter in my school and workplaces, I just can't wait for someone to accuse me of being a "glory hunter" because of my accent when we actually stop being shite! 😂😂😂

That's what got me wondering, people can become attached to a club for the flimsiest reasons.

Martin O'Neil always claimed to be a Sunderland supporter based entirely on his admiration of Charlie Hurley.

I know people don't always appreciate 'glory hunters' but the more people we have in the ground the better imo.

Will we be having a US tour pre-season I wonder ....

Please god yes, I can go to the Florida Keys fishing and also see the lads, I meant, she can get some serious shopping in, and I can be rewarded for my selflessness by watching the lads play the odd game

Hope me, the Evertonian the Baggie & the Swindon fan can still post on here when you're up with the elite!
You anarl. Hopefully the villa idiot and the Spurs prick keep coming back but for different reasons than you and the above.

We were Vancouver in the late 60s.

When it is all announced surely we’d be pretty daft to emphasise Dell’s involvement? The line from the press releases we’ve had so far is ‘passive minority investor’. I realise even a minor investment from someone that wealthy could equate to something huge but by putting it in lights that we have the 25th richest person in the world on board, any future transfer prices we are quoted will be massively inflated.
Donald has mentioned the ‘Sunderland tax’ already this season. It looks like it could be a sign of things to come.

As a supporter for 65 years I hope I can live long enough to see us lifting trophies. In my mind a 5 year period of improvement will be needed to see us back in the Premiership and becoming serious rivals to the established top 6 clubs. I do hope supporters will be realistic in their aspirations and not get impatient when we fall short of our dreams on what will surely be a fantastic journey for Club and City.

We are sounding more like the mags with every thread. Just because we have a potential takeover from rich overlords doesn't mean they're going to throw it all over the place and we're the new PSG. I'd be sitting tight lipped until everything was signed off and transfer evidence of this was evident. We're Sunderland, shit like this doesn't happen to us. We're gonna look like mugs/mags if this doesn't pan out as you're all predicting.

If you get called a glory hunter it will be by fans of other clubs. Anyone who has followed Sunderland regularly for long enough knows that people come frome all corners of the world to support us already. Although someone might be about to make a fortune selling tat to tourists..

Roll with it marra,if any club deserves an upturn in fortune surely it's us ? Even if it doesn't happen, I'm loving every minute of it,I've never heard the filth at work so quiet, long may it continue:D✌.
