Is it true he has just presided over their lowest league position in any season since 1990/91 one season after relegating them? Shameful if true.

Not sure it's a good thing tbh. He's been pretty poor for them and could easily turn out to be gash.

Relegated last season (despite plenty of opportunities to stay up - they played us, Norwich and villa and took 2 points!). Second this season and about 400 home defeats, despite buying half the league.

Real won La Liga in 01 and 03 and won the Champions League in 02. Valencia won it in 02 and 04 and also the uefa cup in 04.
Pretty good acheivment imo
