Never come across a poached in gravy egg. Intrigued but slightly appalled.
Used to sail for a Scottish shipping company. One of the items that used to appear on the menu was Minced Scallops. This was beef mince with a poached egg on top, not to dissimilar to poaching the egg in gravy? it was gopping.
 

Chicken wrapped in Bacon and then use the juice and zest of one Orange and one Lemon, some Garlic and some mixed herbs served with Rice . Copied it from a recipe book years ago and it always goes down well and doesn't taste like how you would think TBH
