There was an awkward conversation at one of my previous places where one manager managed to trip another one up, outing him as a crossdresser.

A secretary who lived near him saw him in drag through his front window and couldn't keep her mouth shut.

There were awkward silences for a few weeks after whenever he walked into a room until another scandal meant everyone had something else to gossip about.
