What we need to take us to the next level

Spot on, I'd add hang onto Le fee with everything we have got to the list.
 

More quality across the front three. Our top scorer (Brobbey) has only got 6 which is a poor return for a striker leading the line. Every other side in the league bar Wolves have at least one player with more goals this season.

We need more goals from wingers too with only Talbi chipping in with anywhere near a decent return.

That said, Brobbey needs to take his chances better and make himself more of an aerial threat with headers. For some a big strong beast, he's not that great at headers.

Geetruida for right back and either sign jp Circin or bring in another left back and we're OK at the back.

I also think we have enough cover in midfield really unless o e of them is off.

I don't thi k we'll be able to spend anywhere near whar we spent last year and I think our priorities should be right wing and then striker.

20 points from second 18 games

We need to strengthen all areas and I think we will. Xhaka and Le Fee the only guaranteed starters next season. Everyone else will have to fight for their shirt.


Based on performances since Xmas our current squad would be stuck in bottom 6 imo.

That's a very rough outline, defence is tough so don't read owt into Mukiele as a backup. Injuries, suspensions etc etc. There are also options beyond these but went for two players in every position.

I think a box office RW and striker (should be our two priorities) to go straight in. After that, competition for LB/CB and a Xhaka understudy. Five players in, trim the fat, get some cash for Isidor - would be delighted.

Agree about Guertruida. It's a bit of a mystery the way he's been treated. Sad, he would be a great signing but why would he stay now.
 
Watching the city game yesterday and that Marmoush came on. I totally forget he existed but thats the type of striker we need imo. Not that we would get him specifically but that type of style
 
Brobbey will be our striker next season (I certainly hope) and I can’t see us playing two up top. What we need is more support/goals from midfield and wide, and obviously him to be more prolific.

Hoping Talbi, Angulo and Diarra can be big players for us next season.

I think some more premier league experience in midfield would be a good thing. Jao Palinha from Bayern Munich would be, imo, a perfect addition if Spurs don’t take up their option on him. Would be good cover for Xhaka too.

Would love us to sign Geertruida, but seems unlikely now, there must be a reason he’s had so little game time in the 2nd half of the season.

I think Spurs will take the option on Palhinha if they stay up. De Zerbi reported as being keen. Would be a good addition to the squad though, adding size, physicality and 3 or 4 goals to midfield.

I think Brobbey has it in him to be a little more prolific. Whilst he only has 6 this season, he made a few appearances as a sub initially and wasn't involved at all in some of the early season games. He's only had one really big goalscoring season at Ajax (18 on 30 league games and 22 in all competitions).

Talbi is my big hope. Clearly bought as a long term prospect. He's played a lot more than was probably expected, although he should probably have started games more often lately.

Like everyone, I agree about Geertruida.

Ta Bi (a 2m kid winger) will still be nowhere near the first team next season apart from cup runs. He was just a cheap gamble, apart from port vale he looked well out of his depth
 
I'm hoping Diarra could be like a new signing next season, has been very average / poor at times this season. He is young 22 and surely if we paid so much for him he must be capable of a lot more.🤞

My memory has let me down. It was Oxford. Looked like he had lots enthusiasm, but looked like a dog with a balloon in the prem. Let's see,.always hope. I used to say the same about Abdullah Ba and he proved me wrong.

It’s a right back we need because Nordis Best position is centre half
