Aye, as a kid I missed the army life on barracks. Ferried around in our own land rover, down the gun range, washing and greasing, oiling the big artiliary pieces.

My uncle was a plater in pompey dockyard ship repairs.. Had to retire at 39 with white knuckle from vibration gun... Hope technology means the job is safer now..
