RAF (5yrs in India WW2), miner, washing machine salesman, centre lathe/capstan operator, retired at 65 and back to work as a security guard at 66. retired at 78.
School teacher . I can't imagine him being any good at it though .
Fitter. Worked at Coles cranes for most of my childhood then worked abroad starting in Germany the going to China.
He was a time served painter & decorator, but spent most of his life, (over 40 years) working as an overhead crane driver, at British Steel Hartlepool (South Durham Works)
