He fully backed all his managers. He literally spend 100s of £millions of his own money on the club.

His problem was that he was clueless at running a football club (which is the reason it cost him so much) and he employed other clueless people to help run it.

Think you are possibly taking this thread a bit too serious, theres no chance he would return. I took the question as a hypothetical one, not like theres a genuine possibility it may happen but if you want me to be serious we would need to sit him in a room at one of the local working mens clubs, compile a list of 50 questions so we can give him a right good grilling, maybe add a few gotcha questions In there too to trip him up. Only then will we be able to see if he has learned anything from past mistakes.
 
It is hypothetical because it will never happen but then again odd things happen in life and i cant help but think that he still thinks about the club, well some part of him anyway like his conscience.

If anyone would rather have Donald than Short they have a screw loose, not that it'll happen anyway.
Probably more about not admitting they were wrong in some regard.
 
He invested/wasted more than £200 million on SAFC, it would be difficult to believe he’d want to “invest” any more!
 
Jesus in a heartbeat. Currently it’s not much better than me and my mate owning us. in fact he had a 33/1 come in at Cheltenham and I dropped the bandit in my local spoons just before lockdown, so by my calculations that puts us ahead of our current owners

Not sure I'd go as far as to say I'd rather have Donald, but I wouldn't be pleased if Short came back either. I think Donald has done a crap job, but Short nearly put us out of business. Fair play to him, he invested, but he did it so badly that it risked the future of the club. He proved, similar to Donald, that he couldn't get the right people in to help us build. Had Donald proved adept at running the club I'd have happily seen Short come back in to fund it, but I wouldn't want to see him take over again and have to employ people. Thankfully I'm pretty certain he'd have no interest in throwing more money down the drain
 
The more I think about it is that I worryingly don’t care anymore! Modern footballs shite man it’s just a dirty horrible business.
