What has Speakman done to be so hated?

I don't hate him but I do think if we are to keep on building as we have been previously then he needs to adjust the recruitment a tiny bit. All we really need is two or three experienced players in CB or DM. Don't even need an experienced striker but going and signing one would be an easy win to get fans back on side.

I'm more than happy to continue the plan of unearthing promising young players but they need experience on there to learn from.

Imagine singing a load of players we can sell for a massive profit what a bastard eh we should just sign 29 yr olds for 10 million then give them away for nowt

Ok which ‘load of players’ could we sell for a profit? And how does that then allow us to build any kind of squad for a promotion campaign?

Would you include any of the signings from last summer (I’ll give you Jobe) as part of that list?

Who is advocating signing players for 10 million and giving them away for nowt? There’s middle ground between that and our current approach of signing a load of kids surely?

How many seasons does it take?
It’s not football manager you can’t sell and sign 10 players every window the damage that was done was massive at every level of the club , it’s something that takes time people on here just name names without knowing any circumstances financially or personal. Every transfer is a gamble unfortunately I think a bit complacency has sneaked in with thinking we have amazing judgement and every player is going to turn out good this season due to the success of previous windows. Maybe over confidence in their judgement

All sides have injuries. We haven’t had Stewart available for ages and he wasted three chances to replace him. You can’t ignore the severe drop off of our performances and final league position.

The mind boggling strict adherence to a crazy recruitment philosophy has seen us go backwards rapidly and without an about turn many fans are understandably concerned about a relegation fight next season.

It’s also noticeable we’ve signed players who’ve immediately been injured or repeatedly suffer injuries.

That can’t just be down to ‘bad luck’.

You not think this will be getting looked at like before next season it’s their investments man
I mean, he's absolutely correct in what he's saying. Speakman and/or KLD, whoever is continuing to run the recruitment policy is wrecking the club
Wrecking the club aye because we should be challenging for the champions league by now like

That's funny because KS has signed 28 players in 2 years.

We will be relegated next season under the current structure, I mean, if that's where you think we should be? Then fair fucks to you, I personally think we should be striving for top six in the Championship but horses for courses I suppose

25 £10m players 😂
Aye because that's what we're demanding ffs.
We are having to sign value squad fillers to make numbers as we have that many injuries etc why are you judging someone on one bad season

They have already said it’s getting tweaked but that’s not good enough for some if we didn’t have Evans the crock it may of been different

3 consecutive poor transfer windows. Failure to get some reasonable strikers for the level. Continuing not to address what we need, experience, strikers and a defensive midfielder. 3 windows have passed since Evans injury.

A terrible head coach appointment then giving someone out for their depth in Dodds the reigns for a few months.

The last 18 months has been a disaster after a very encouraging start. Unless lessons are learned, expect another relegation.

Don’t need an experienced striker? You had better come to terms with another spell in L1 then.
