What has Speakman done to be so hated?

neil who failed at stoke

Did mowbray bring in the players who got us 6th. No

Only set of fans who seem to hate their own club

‘Hate their own club’. Grow up man.

As I said, in spite of the recruitment.

He's signed some exciting young players, managed to get 10 mil for a crock with only a year left on his contract, got out of league 1 then the next season immediately in the championship play offs under him. We are moving in the right direction under him after languishing in league 1 for years. He has made a number of mistakes in a short period of time in the last couple of months, but overall he is doing a good job IMO
The man is narcissistic in thinking its his way only or the highway... anyone with an ounce of footballing knowledge can see selling off any experience we had made us worse than the season before... also to go through several transfer windows not prioritising a proper forward is criminal.

See my update (link below), I made the original post when we were still in or around the play offs. Last season was a disaster, mistake after mistake, gave up on the season in December. This summer is make or break for him IMO. I still prefer his model of buying youth with potential, over Shorts "model" of paying huge wages to has-beens, he's just gotta balance it with some experience and a competent head coach

Up to now the appointment now has focused on managers who are out of work because they’re desperate enough to get back in to work. Having to work under gods gift & have his mate forced onto them in some form of coaching capacity.

Only once they have repaired their reputation do they speak out and question the great KS and in doing that are soon looking for a new job. AN left because club wasn’t moving forward in a direction he wanted. Even in Lg1 he was questioning the sense of only one centre forward and the reliance on Stewart. That was even though we had Broadhead. Mowbray began questioning and got bored of the interference from KS who’s only experience of football is playing computer games and sitting in an academy. So he was binned.

A sporting dictator (!) who ponces round the AoL in a training top with KS on, a sporting dictator who gets involved in training with English when head coach leaves, a sporting director who gets all squad players together at first meeting and tells them to read on google and see how he made Bellingham is an egotistical sod and needs to be peddled.

Hopefully the potential appointment of Still sees end of the KS and can bring someone in who is about the greater good rather than looking after themselves and own bank balance.
